DESCRIPTION: This is a high quality, one component, high-temperature silione adhesive so called žliquid gasket. The product cures under the influence of moisture contained in air. It is impossible to use it in rooms completely closed. IDEAL FOR: Motorization: sealing elements of electic and combustion engines (oil bowls, head blocks, drive bridges, gear boxes etc). Replaces gaskets made of paper, cardboard, rubber, teflon. Building technical devices: sealing joints where high resistance to high temperature is required, sealing pumps, filters, heating devices (boilers, stoves; heaters, cookers). HOW TO USE: Dry and clean the surfaces designed for bonding from dust, grease and dirt Remove old loose seal. Stick masking tape on both sides of the surface tobe bonded to ensure equal edges. Apply small amount of the silicone Remove an excees of the adhesive usinng an oiled spatula. Remove the masking tape after 8 min. Remove the cured silicone with a knife or razor blade."

Worked great to fix oil leak in car
The engine in my car was leaking oil through one of the inspection channels that are normally sealed using metal plugs as the plug had deteriorated over time and no longer held the oil back.Rather than having to replace the whole seal with a new OEM part and pay a specialist to do the whole process, I drained the car of oil and then used this 300oC silicon to fill the remained of the inspection channel.Let it dry and the channel is now sealed perfectly, no leaks of oil when the car was refilled, and so far with limited driving the repair has been a great success.Good stuff and worked well
Better than some more expensive sealants.
Used to seal plastic connector on car coolant hose. So far has lasted longer than a few more expensive sealants. A little bit messy but this is probably because it is black and more noticeable on your hands and anything else you might touch. Well worth a try if you have a troublesome leak in a high temperature, pressurised system like automotive or central heating.

I have this Tefal IH201840 Everyday Induction Hob, Ceramic Coated Cooking Plate, Black induction hob, and I recently learned what happens when you use a pan that's too big for the hob. The pan gets hot and it melts the plastic edging along the top and bottom of the hob! The plastic went a bit volcanic-rock, and was very hard and rough, and I was worried about scratching my cookware, so I ordered this silicone adhesive and smeared it over the damaged part of my induction cooker. Because this silicone is rated for very high heat, and it dries to a reasonably smooth and soft finish, it turned out to be the perfect solution. My cooker is operating just fine, and my cookware is safe. I just don't know why the manufacturer of the induction hob didn't use silicone on the casing to begin with.
Saved me a fortune not having to get repair done
Like many of the other reviewers I bought this to stick the rubber seal inside my oven door back on. I did as instructed and it bonded almost immediately. Several months on the seal is still strongly bonded even though the oven is used most days. Simple to use and very effective.
Good but not good enough
I bought this in the hope it would stick a part of my dishwasher that had come adrift from it's internal back wall - it worked for three washes, I tried again using more of the glue but it eventually came away again.I think it is a good product and I am sure I will use it successfully in the future but not in this case.
Don't let the air get in!
A number of reviewers have complained that this high temp glue/sealant is difficult to squeeze out of the tube. I did what many new users might do: squeeze a little out just to see what it's like. When you put the cap back on you allow a little air into the tube. FATAL! When you go back to actually use it you can't squeeze any more out. The air you let in has caused the internal surface to harden making it virtually impossible to squeeze anymore out. I had to cut the corner off the other end of the tube to get some out to do my job!So, to avoid this problem, be very careful not to let air into the tube after each squeeze. Keep the pressure on until you've replaced the cap.Having said all that, I successfully used this material to repair the pressure bung of our pressure cooker. Not the highest temperature environment but it did the job with minimal cost. Recommended.
