Yes they are expensive, yes there are cheap versions but these are well made and sturdy. He is still young so sorting arrangement has gone out the window but given time this will be a great help. I got this for my 16 month old son and he has quickly learnt additional fruits and vegetables he didn’t already know like plum, apricot and broccoli great way to teach kids. They also look quite life like which is helpful. As he gets older I will teach him to sort by colour so I think this is a great toy to have

We have purchased most of this range for my Son as the quality is unbeatable! he chews everything and these have proved extremely robust, and 3 months in they still look the same as the day we gave them to him. Highly recommend!

He played with it non stop for weeks. Slowly the pieces started to get lost between 2 moves as well as grandparents house. But he still plays with them two years later and so does his little brother.The only thing I think is strange about it is the carrot is made of smooth glossy hard plastic while everything else is a more soft texture (almost like a silicone hard plastic?) It doesn’t take away from the toy, just odd to me lol.
