Perfect for fine low porosity 3b hair
I have very fine 3b low porosity hair and have been following the Curly Girl method for two years.In my routine I use a sulphate free shampoo, silicone free conditioner and then on soaking wet hair I use leave in conditioner (AsIAm Coconut Conditioner) and a lightweight gel.I have been using AsIAm conditioner for a good year now and it is a staple in my routine. I often play around with different products- slight product junkie- but I always come back to this leave in.ProsLight enough for fine hair- doesn’t weight hair downMoisturising- I use a generous amount and rarely get frizz- my hair is quiet thirstyCurly girl friendly ingredients- no sulphates, parabens or siliconesCoconut scented- really nice and soft scent so doesn’t overpower other scents you might wear. I love Coconut scented anything so this makes it a winner for me.Has great slip- Although as I add it at the end of my routine I don’t really brush my hair or do much finger detangling at that stage of my routine.ConsAs I live in England and the product is American the price is a bit more expensive then they what it would be abroad- this is just par for the course though!The bottle is quite small and it can be irritating to get the last bit of product out because of the size and shape of the bottle. I think if the bottle was more like a squirt bottle like some of the devacurl products it would be easier to use.All in all I really like this product it doesn’t flake or weigh my hair down. It works really well on it’s own and in conjunction with the other products that I use. I think it’s a great leave in conditioner and I will definitely be purchasing this again once my new bottle has run out!
Great, works well in my hair
Much better than some other leave-in conditioners I’ve used. It’s easy to apply, squeeze it out, and rub it into your hair like a normal conditioner. It leaves my hair feeling and looking hydrated, noticeably less frizzy, without feeling heavy.
Effectiveness was great, bottle size was rather small
Great at what it does, tames frizz and stops hair from volumising TOO much and leaves curls with a defined, soft, mat finish without it feeling oily or greasy.Only issue is that the bottle was quite small and I needed to order more. Nearly the size of my hand which is disappointing.

So good i’m speechless. The smell is amazing, the texture is great and very moisturising for my hair type, for thickness it ain’t like a butter solution, more of moisturisers but for hair. The product seems at a very nice price for the quality.

Excellent as made my under carriage hair so smooth and soft after using it.
Not the biggest fan.
I found that whenever I did use it, my hair would end up feeling quite dry no matter how much or little I used. my hair didn't get any worse per say, but I got better results with just a shampoo and conditioner in the shower or a deep conditioner. I have thick coarse 2c-3a hair.
