Clearly these brushes are designed for younger children. For our daughter who isn't three yet, they are perfect. First of all, they are very solid brushes - very sturdy and will survive the beating they will inevitably get. They're quite chunky meaning they are simple to hold, will not snap and great for getting the young ones used to holding a writing device such as a brush or pen. Forget fidelity of drawing, this really isn't what these brushes are about. its a big, chunky tip for bold, brash paintings and lots of lots of fun.While you wont be painting a Picasso with these, they will provide hours of fun.

Easy for toddlers to hold, easy to clean, well made with no loose bristles, good size and good value for money. My little one seems to enjoy using these when “painting” (Great messy play tool!) Recommended to my parenting pals.

Pretty good as kid’s brushes - good size and my 2 year old managed them easily. Bristles are a little wirey but for just over £1 each, they’re better than some I’ve seen in the supermarket, for eg.No bristles came out in the first rinse and they came out clean(ish) having used some super bright poster paints!I would recommend them, and they were handy to get off Bolo, as usual :)

These are chunky, colourful, and well-made. They can be handled by a three-year toddler with ease, they are easy to paint with, and they wash out quite well afterwards.Not exactly fine line pictures; these are for bolder, more basic creations - an ideal "starter" brush for little hands, and great value at less than £3.00 for a set of four.

I bought these paintbrushes for my 21 month old toddler to do a bit of painting at home. They are excellent quality paintbrushes, quite large in size with chunky wooden handles perfect for a clumsy toddler's hands. These paintbrushes are somewhat larger than others specifically designed for small children however I found that has not stopped my toddler from using them with ease and they are large enough and strong enough to last her for a good few years to come.

The brushes are sturdy and the handles are chunky, ideal for small hands and enthusiastic painters. However, they are not the lovely, bright primary colours as shown on the seller’s site. This is disappointing, especially when trying to teach a toddler to match the brush handles to the correct coloured paint pot. Can’t advise on longevity as not been used yet.

I bought these brushes along with the paint pallet for my young son who is 3. Very good brushes, the bristles dont come off while painting or washing. Although not the primary colours shown in the picture, that doesnt matter as I ordered 4 paint brushes and I got 4 paint brushes that do the job they are intended for and my young son loves to paint with them.
