I had never used a tongue scraper before and was quite aapprehensive about using it at first. I used it very gently at first and had no problems. After a few days I slowly brushed a little more firmly but still remained cautious.I had no problems and I think my daily routine will benefit from the use of a tongue scraper.

This is a product I’m on the fence about a good old manual toothbrush which is medium to firm does the same job and it’s cheaper. This toothbrush has no flavour so not sure why that’s an option to rate?? The bristles are soft and if you apply toothpaste especially the white Colgate type it’s very hard to remove the excess paste. My to the does feel cleaner after use but you do need to apply pressure. I have a low gag reflex but I found the best way to use this for me was to use my electric toothbrush to clean my teeth and tongue. Using the toothpaste left in my mouth I then stick my tongue out and make it stiff, I tilt my head back and this allows me to clean my tongue in side to side and back and forth motions. I find applying pressure helps to remove any gunk from my tongue. It’s so soft I don’t see how it causes bruising but you need to use common sense with the pressure to apply, it’s your tongue after all so you know what feels comfortable. I do feel that my mouth feels fresher when used and this feeling lasts even after eating and drinking for hours. I don’t think I would buy again unless you get a multi pack as a firm toothbrush does the same job, this is perhaps more gentle.
