I’ve owned pets for many years, and along the way I’ve tried no end of stain‑ and odour‑removers. Most of them did a decent job masking smells, but if there was urine involved the smell often lingered — sometimes coming back days later. The Simple Solution Urine Destroyer Enzymatic Cleaner has honestly changed the game for me. It doesn’t just cover up; it breaks down the mess and gets rid of odours for good.I first used it after my cat had a mishap on the carpet — something I was dreading dealing with because of the strong, lingering smell that followed a similar incident in the past. Easy to use and it works. Smells lovely - like talcum powder. Didn’t damage or discolour dark green velvet sofa. Ordered more. Recommend.Note: I covered the area with bicarbonate soda for 24+ hours and then hoovered before using this product. The urine smell was still there after using baking soda but it was fully removed once using this product and following the instructions.

This cleaner does a really good job at breaking down urine smells rather than just masking them, especially on carpets and soft furnishings. After applying it properly and letting it soak in, the odour is noticeably reduced and doesn’t come back once dry, which is the big plus. It’s easy to use, doesn’t have an overpowering chemical smell, and feels safe to use around pets. On very old or heavy stains it may need a second application, but overall it’s a solid and reliable solution for everyday pet accidents.

After a tom cat came in and sprayed a sofa and left a nice gift, my 3 were stressed and tried to help by removing his scent with theirs.This can be used with or without a carpet cleaner. I actually take 48 hours to clean a stained area, flowing the instructions for hoover removal then doing it again with a carpet cleaner 24 hours later.Works a treat. We didn't have any further incidents. And the smell was totally removed.Also used on a child's mattress after an overnight accident. I had previously used another stain remover. Which had, although removed the smell, had left a ring where I guess the fabric of the mattress had the colour removed.I knew I had this so thought I'd give it a go.Usually I soak the wet stain for 4+ hours with a layer of bicarb. Hoover it off. They try dab off any excess. Follow the instructions about soaking the area + an addition perimeter. Leave then hoover again. This takes around 24 hours from first treating/finding the stain.Cus I like to cut corners I didn't hoover this time after the first soaking with the urine remover, I just went in with the carpet cleaner (mixed usual into tank with this as instructed on the bottle) and went in and left to dryAfter the final 48 hours I was expecting to see a ring where the remover and cleaning has been applied but nothing! Smell and stain totally dissolved!

Really good for smells.Ive been using it on tiles (not carpet) but helped me with getting rid of the smell ( I was previously mopping 2 or 3 times to make the smell go away).Unfortunately, it not working as a prevention, had few more "accidents" in the same spots.
Worked very well with strong urine smell
Elderly shihtzu who is entire loves to leave urine marking inside and on our verandah - especially when it’s raining.We tried cleaning this repeatedly but I could still smell the urine.I purchased another brand urine enzyme product and drenched the spots with it. When it dried it did smell a bit better but within 24 hours the stench was back and just slightly improved.I decided to buy more urine enzymes and this time buy this product. I again drenched the area and the scent of this was really nice and stronger than the other brand I tried.It’s been hours now since it dried and my husband said he couldn’t smell the urine when he returned to the house and neither can I. Finally a product that works and competitively priced too 🙌

Worked wonders
It worked! My cat soiled my running shoes and I’ve tried everything from soap to vinegar and baking soda but nothing worked, the smell was so bad. This solution removed the smell completely! Not even a trace of it left, I really recommend it if you’re trying to get rid of the cat urine smell.

La chienne avait urine dans la voiture... on a acheter ce produit après une odeur tenace malgré plusieurs nettoyage y compris à l'injecteur.Grâce au commentaire j'ai fait 2 lavages et l'odeur à disparue. L'odeur du produit reste un peu plus longtemps mais c'est largement acceptable en 1semaine le pb est réglé
