This set of albums shows that Yes can be brilliant, most of Going for the One is excellent, bits of 90125 such as "Owner of a lonely heart" etc are catchy, but most of Drama, Tormato and Big Generator are dreadful, and demonstrate that the Yes we know and love, really lost their way during this period!

A "must" for all true Yes fans. Whilst not covering the early "classic" Yes period, the selection here proves that what ever the changes in line up, Yes is the gift that keeps on giving. My particular favourite is " Going For the One", which was the first album I heard by the group, and not only features a great single success in "Wonderous Stories", but perhaps one of their all time greats in the form of "Awaken".Albums such as "Drama" and "90125" highlight significant step changes in the group's development and also contain great numbers such as " Machine Messiah" and "Owner of A lonely Heart". The selection represents great value for money and a useful step back in time to the middle years of one of prog rocks greatest acts.

I have the first three of these CDs as LPs, bought at the time, so bought the set mainly for the last two CDs, 90125 and the Big Generator. On listening again to the CDs, what struck me was how good is the Drama CD - some great Chris Squire bass and Trevor Horn production. The weakest of the five CDs are Tormato and Big Generator, but this 5 pack is a great way to plus gaps in my Yes collection.

Great having five of the yes albums together, these being the less intense ones it was nice to have them as part of my collection. Much prefer yes live albums especially on vinyl such as yes songs but they do give a superb collection of lesser known tracks. Also nice having the cds for the car as they are inexpensive coming as 5 together in one pack.

Yes is a band that you may not take notice and like at first. It grows on you. Plus Jon Anderson is a superb vocalist.
