A nice little beginner’s set if you’re wanting to dip your toe into the swirling pool of polymer clay creating. There’s a decent amount of colours to get you started, & combining colours together obviously increases the colour palette at your disposal. I’m a complete novice, & have had a little play around with it, the clay softens really easily, but I’ve found that it also marks really easily as a result, not the best thing - unless you want all of your creations to be covered in your fingerprints! Since purchasing, I’ve read countless reviews of this clay elsewhere, & they weren’t particularly favourable. The general consensus seems to be that this clay is okay for having a practice, or easing yourself into the hobby, but it’s not much use for really robust, & professional-looking finished pieces, & I’d have to agree. Apparently the Sculpey professional range is much better quality, & isn’t wildly expensive, so if you’re a serious creator, their alternative range might be a better fit for your needs. For first time hobbyists like myself, this pack was certainly good enough to pique my interest in the craft, & to have a mess around with without breaking the bank, however, in the future I will definitely be looking to purchase from their other range.

Sculpey is a polymer clay. It's soft like plasticine, then you bake it in the oven to harden. I've played a fair bit with it, and it's great fun for kids and adults alike. There are several different sellers of this item. The cheapest price I can find anywhere for separate bars of Scupley is £1.55 (this is the price for a full-sized bar, 2 oz). This package contains 12 half-bars, or the same amount of Scupley as 6 full-sized bars. Thus the amount of Sculpey you get in this package is worth at least £9.30 to my mind. Compare that to the price of item plus shipping for this item and you'll be able to see which of the sellers provides a good deal.

Nichts für Schmuckbastelei
Falls jemand Schmuck herstellen möchte, empfehle ich eher "Premo" oder "Soufflé".Ich hab sculpey3 auch mit den beiden gemischt, das geht auch, könnte aber auch hier etwas brüchig werden. Pur verwendet bricht es sehr schnell, zb bei einem Ohrring der dünn ist.

I think Sculpey Clay is the best clay for the small projects I create. I love the variety of colors. It is very easy to work with and bakes nicely.

Love these! No complaints. Great variety of colors, good condition, soft, durable, not very high on stickiness, fun to work with, and great value for your money. It's MUCH better than working with Sculpey original. These are perfectly sized for a sampler kind of item, too, because you get to experiment with different default colors and can mix them to get different hues, if you'd like. I use them to make earrings!
