Wherever you decide to place it try to ensure that part of it is slightly shaded. It is manufactured from tough UV resistant high-density polyethylene for maximum durability and has a 20 year guarantee. It features an integral pump stand and an integral wildlife escape route. It is a great feature to add to your garden and one that you can turn into a fabulous focal point by adding aquatic decorations such as a fountain or rocks or even a bridge – just let your imagination run wild. We recommend that you install a pond pump not only to oxygenate the water which is beneficial to your fish and water plants but also to prevent stagnant water. The pond arrived the day after we ordered it. It took us an afternoon to dig the hole and a day to fit it in properly. We kept trying it in the hole, putting in more sand, then trying pond again. As long as you don’t rush and keep checking the fitting then it isn’t too hard to fit and keeps it’s shape. We have some plants in and a couple of diving beetles have set up home. We are going to fit gravel liner around the edge to hide the lip of the pond and enable any wildlife to access the pond easily. Very pleased with our purchase.

This is a good, cheap and relatively easy way to create a pond in your garden. The mould seems at first to be a bit flimsy, but the plastic seems to stand up to it's task fairly well. It looks good when fully installed. The Tadpoles seem to like it anyway.One word of caution, you need to pack in earth or sand under the various mould shapes to make sure that all parts of it stand up to the weight of water which will be going in it. As I piled in the sand all around, the sides of the pond gradually seemed to rise up and move closer to each other so that I ended up with really quite a deep pool, slightly misshapen, although still looking very attractive.As a cheap alternative to fibreglass or creating the whole thing from scratch, I believe it does the job.
