Vitamin D can either be obtained from our diet (natural sources are fish, milk and egg yolks) or manufactured by the action of sunlight on the skin.

Each tablet provides 2x the NRV (Nutrient Reference Value, i.e. recommended daily amount) for Vitamin D.Ideally it would be 1x the NRV, but other products are often 5x or 10x (which is way too much), so 2x is really quite resonable. You can simply take it every other day to get the proper amount.
