The hidden gem of the album that was not featured as a single is "Bang Bang Bang" which is just irresistibly catchy. "Love You Like A Lovesong," "Bang Bang Bang," "Who Says," "Hit the Lights" are all really excellent clubby or dancy tracks. Overall, if you like top 40 pop music like Britney Spears, Katy Perry, etc. then you'll enjoy this album.

Kids really enjoyed this cd. Some good songs on it and on the odd occasion when it's on in the background. Never quietly with the kids though. I find myself singing along. So must be ok.

Her first two albums were great, but she has something truly special here. She has broken free from the Disney hold.At first listen, you will hear her beautiful voice maturing more and more with experience. The mark of a truly great artist is an album on which all the songs have the musician's distinct sound but all the songs are unique and different from one another. She has done this here.I think every song is a winner. However, in my opinion, the stand out tracks are "Love You Like A Love Song", "Bang Bang Bang", "We Own The Night", "Whip Lash", and last (and possibly my favorite) "My Dilemma"."Love You Like a Love Song" has great lyrics and reminds me of something of a forgotten era, maybe from the 20's. "Bang Bang Bang" is an upbeat, catchy song with a great hook. "We Own the Night" is a slower, downtempo, hypnotic song about just being free and enjoying the company of someone you care about. "Whip Lash" is an upbeat techno that has a bit of a throwback sound to early 80's Blondie-type tunes with a modern twist. "My Dilemma" is a song that I can't get out of my head!! This song, to me, is wonderfully, deliciously ADDICTING! And the rest of the tunes are just as fabulous.Selena is certainly a child no longer. Not only does she have more of a hand in her music, she has collaborated with the likes of musicians like Britney Spears and Katy Perry, which is an excellent sign of things to come. I look forward to what's next from this talented lady.On a side note, make sure you purchase the actual CD instead of downloading it digitally. The CD has a beautiful insert booklet featuring gorgeous photos of Selena spanning about 70 decades (the 1920's through today). Thank you so much for including this little gem for the fans. This is the reason sometimes downloading music can't even come close to buying a true CD.If you haven't had the chance to listen to Ms. Gomez's music, this is the starting point for you. When the Sun Goes Down is hands down the best release from any musician this year thus far. Lady Gaga (whose new CD is awful) can learn a thing (or MANY) from Selena Gomez.I give this CD a 5... out of 5.

Selena siempre incluye las letras de las canciones en sus trabajos y para nosotros, sus inspiradores "fans", como ella dice, es un doble disfrute. Comienza el disco con el clásico "LOVE YOU LIKE A LOVE SONG" y continúa con "BANG, BANG, BANG" que abrirá su gira "STARS DANCE" en 2013. Aparte de sus éxitos "WHO SAYS", "HIT THE LIGHTS", "MY DILEMMA" y "WE OWN THE NIGHT", (dió nombre a su gira), recomiendo escuchar "OUTLAW" y "MIDDLE OF NOWHERE" si quieres saber hasta dónde es capaz de llegar su dulce y maravillosa voz. Termina el disco con "DICES", la versión en español. Selena no quisiera ser nadie más y así lo expresa en su agradecimiento final, a Jesús y a sus "fans". Sin duda, otro gran trabajo de la cantante de Texas y su banda.(El disco vendido por Bolo llegó antes del plazo señalado y en perfecto estado).
