Great chair for Astronomy!
I use this chair for amateur astronomy with a Celestron 6se goto scope and am very satisfied how well it works for this purpose. I was a little taken aback at how small the chair looks, but it has turned out to be perfect for me. Another reviewer said she thought the design was unsteady and unstable. I don’t find this to be the case at all. I am 6’1” tall and weigh 230# and the chair is plenty stable for me. The adjustment range is very suitable for my viewing from horizon to zenith.The description is wrong in saying the chair is adjustable to 26” high; it is more like 23” high which turns out to be more than enough for me. And the seat doesn’t fold down for transit, but rather detaches and hooks onto the folded legs. This seems to work fine. Bottom line: I’m very happy with my purchase and recommend it for other star gazers.

About 23 inches tall at maximum height, but a great sturdy, durable, and comfortable chair for Astronomy (C6 SCT and SkyView Pro GEM) otherwise.
Great Stool/Chair for Astronomy Use
This Vestil CPRO-200 seat is a well-built, sturdy and comfortable stool I use with my Orion XT6 Dobsonian telescope.The only complaint I have is with the written description of the CPRO-200's features which states that the seat height range is 13" to 26". The actual seat range is 13" to 23" which enables an adjustable seat height on the six horizontal bars of about 13", 15", 17", 19", 21" and 23".I am pleased with the product and believe it will serve me for many years.
Great product, but unfortunately it doesn't reach 26 inches, as advertised.
I really like Vestil's chairs. I'm a professional keyboardist and singer and I already had a taller version, the CPRO-800, I believe, which I really like. There are times, however, when I would prefer a slightly smaller profile, and that's why I ordered the CPRO-200. I like the individual rungs where you can attach the seat (which is a nicely padded improvement!) but it is going to leave me a few inches short of where I need to be to effectively play my keyboard. I would say that 23 inches is a more realistic description of how high this chair can be set.
Well-made stable adjustable portable chair. Perfect for XT6!
I brought this chair for astronomy purposes to carry it around whenever I decide to use my telescope. It is a light weight, stable, comfortable and the selection of adjustable heights is perfect for the use of Orion XT6. I use the lowest level (13”) to set while collimating telescope mirrors, and up to 21” level for stargazing. I don’t even need to use the highest level (23”).
