I wanted to give an update to my original review below. Although I still have the burned area of skin, which is slowly healing, I’ve continued to use the TENS machine on nearby areas & am very impressed with the pain relief given, even though I’m still not able to place it directly over the actual direct area of discomfort, & I’ve had no problems at all with any skin damage in these other areas. I now love it & wouldn’t be without it! So much so that I’ve just purchased a wireless version by the same company.I was all set to give 5 stars to this machine as the relief while using it from the chronic strong ache/pain in my lower back due to lumbar osteoarthritis was very good. For me, it provides a masking effect due to the tingling sensation, which is pleasant enough, & far preferable to the pain/discomfort I experience without it. Though the discomfort came back quickly after I stopped using it, I was very pleased to have found something that helps while using it, at least. I also found it easy to set up & use due to the detailed & clear instruction booklet. However, after only 2 days’ usage I have a large, 12cm square, solidly dark purple to brown area of skin which the electrodes have burnt/damaged. I used the machine strictly to guidelines, less in fact than the 90 mins 3 times a day suggested, using it for 2 lots of 60 mins the first day & only 60 mins the second day. I had the settings as instructed and didn’t turn the stimulation setting above 4. The electrodes are of course new, I placed them at least an electrode’s width apart from each other, only used 2 of them & they were properly fixed to the wires & to my skin, which was clean and dry. And I have no broken skin in the area & don’t have sensitive skin. I’m also 55, i.e. my skin isn’t yet so old that it’s thinner than is ideal. I haven’t used a TENS machine prior to this so I have nothing to compare it with, it may be a reaction which is peculiar to me. I have to say the machine doesn’t feel faulty or at all shoddily made. But I wanted to warn other users to be careful when using it & to check skin carefully for any damage from the off, perhaps only using it on only very low setting & for very short periods initially, only building up to longer periods if there’s no reaction. It’s a real shame as I was pretty happy to have found something which gives proper relief. And I haven’t fully given up on it, I intend to let the skin heal & then try again, but for much shorter periods & on lower settings, as I would love to be able to use it frequently & daily - I already had planned all that I might do with a relatively pain-free back!

It does reduce the pain i am experiencing. I have sciatic pain down my right leg due to a slipped disc. I got feed up taking loads of painkillers i just felt that it can't be good for me. The Tens machine means i can reduce the medication during the day. This is not a cure, after turning the machine off i am pain free for about 10 minutes then the pain returns, i basically just leave it on most of the day and take medication during the night. The Tens machine Dual channels means I can place 2 Electrodes at the top of my leg and 2 on my calf muscle. When i first received the Tens machine i placed the electrodes on my leg and left it on for about 5 hours, it did give me some relief from the pain. It has taken me a few days to find the most effective place to put the electrodes, just a bit of trial and error needed. So the Tens machine comes with Med-Fit 1 instruction manual, very comprehensive. A patients practical guide to Tens Therapy and treatment. This tells you how to use the Tens machine, how long to use it for, during Tens treatment, after Tens treatment and what the Tens machine can be used for. It has a picture guide on where to put the electrodes for certain conditions. These include cervical pain, frozen shoulder, shoulder pain, lower leg pain, sciatica and many more. It also comes with the Tens machine itself with a 9V battery, the battery didn't last long so I have also bought a 9V battery charger and 2 9V batteries. It has 2 leads which connect the Tens machine to the electrodes and it comes with 4 gel electrodes. I have been using the supplied electrodes for about a week and they are still going strong. I have however ordered extra electrode as I will using the machine for some time. Overall a good product and worth every penny.

SO I HAVE SPINAL STENOSIS AND SUFFER WITH CHRONIC PAIN, I TRIALED THIS AT THE HOSPITAL AND BROUGHT MY OWN ONE. IT'S BEEN ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND IS REALLY EASY TO USE AND SET UP. IT'S SMALL AND FITS NICELY IN A KIT BAG. I BUY THE EXTRA LARGE ELECTRODES FOR MORE COVERAGE. I HAVE HAD MY DEVICE OVER 6 YEARS AND STILL USE IT DAILY FOR PAIN. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT AND CAN'T FAULT IT ONE BIT.

Firstly, use of this product has reduced my oramorph dose by half which is amazing. It’s easy to use and the batteries last for so long in it (I’ve bought rechargeable ones now too). BUT the pads are extremely poor quality. All of them broke within the first few days. This is not acceptable!!! I keep the pads on throughout the day and am super careful when sitting/walking/using the toilet - so I don’t catch them. But the wires just work their way out of the pads all the time. I even wear multiple plasters over the wires to try and prevent this but it only delays the inevitable. The seller sent me a dozen free pads (although their customer service/communication is not the best). This is the reason I am giving 3 stars instead of 5 as the pads are a massive let down. However I would still highly recommend the product.

Ayant utilisé ce type d'appareil chez mon Kiné pour un problème d'épaule j'ai décidé d'en acquérir un plus petit et plus économique car ce type d'appareil est quand meme cher , je suis pleinement satisfaite de celui-ciPeu cher et pas très high tech mais redoutablement efficaceon peu y brancher 2 jeu d'electrodes ce qui donne 4 points de stimulations a deux voix séparéesil y a plusieurs type de réglages dont je ne rentrerai pas dans les details car c'est technique mais on peut essayer ce qui convient le mieux en manipulant les petits boutons qui gèrent les champs electrique et il est très puissanton sent rapidement les bienfaits d'un seance de 15 a 20 mnil fonctionne sur pile de 9 vles electrodes sont autocollantes mais cela ne dure qu'un temps car elles perdent rapidement le coté adhesif, il suffira de les faire tenir avec une petite bande si on veut les garder plus longtemps sinon en acheter d'autresBref un bon petit appareil (qui ne tient pas trop de place) éfficace et qui évite de prendre trop d'antalgiques

Funciona a la perfección, y es tal como se describe. Tiene potencia más que suficiente y es sencillo de maneja, por lo que las instrucciones en guiri no suponen un problema para quienes no usen este tipo de aparatos por primera vez. Entrega sin demora. Muy recomendable
