My old lock broke (not a Yale) and I needed to replace it without too much fuss. Lock arrived before the expected date (which was great) and fitted that day. Lovely looking and really smooth action and I was able to keep the old lock barrel so no need to swap keys and have spares cut. I think it’s very good value for the price.

Arrived promptly, seems good quality. Took me ages to choose the correct replacement, but this was easy to fit, covers the gaps and looks good.

I did read all the Bolo reviews before I bought the item and thought if it is true about the recess in the door pull being too small and the key lock will not fit into it properly, I should be able to get it to fit. When the item arrived the first thing I checked was to see if the key lock fitted inside the door pull, and guess what it didn’t fit into the hole in the door pull too small. So all the reviews stating this are true and unless you are prepared to do a little bit of work on the door pull to get the lock to fit in it properly I suggest not to buy it. But if you are prepared to like myself then it shouldn’t be much of a problem, but my feelings are that Yale should of addressed this problem by now

However you will need to get an out swing latch plate since the plate that is included will only work for an in swing configuration.Even though this was shipped from the UK to the US it arrived much quicker than expected.
It works if you know what you're doing.
It does not fit all doors and door frames, if you are competent in installing and problem solving then I would recommend this item, if you have to modify the fitting and you're not sure how to do that then don't do it. As far as security is concerned I would give this lock a low rating, overall it does what it's supposed to do but only if you know what you're doing.
