Was a little nervous getting this due to negative reviews about chipped bowls, cracked wood and generally iffy colours but I went ahead non the less as it was the perfect size for our little dining table and seemed great value if you added in the little snack bowls.It arrived today in one day from ordering, in perfect condition. No chipped or broken bowls and no chipped or split wooden parts. The whole ensemble was wrapped in shrink-wrap and each ceramic bowl was wrapped individually in bubble wrap with a corrugated cardboard sleeve separating each bowl. The wooden stand is a nice pale rubberwood and has no rough edges or chips. The wood is smooth and has a slight sheen but is not varnished. It has a smooth enough rotation or action but will not fly round, launching your bowls and their contents over your guests/diners. The bowls themselves are chunky and solid, and sit together nicely on top of the tray. A raised rim stops them flying off when the tray is rotating. They ARE white but not brilliant white. If you place one on a piece of white printer paper it will look faintly grey but without this comparison you really would not notice that they are not brilliant white (unless you are an extremely fussy individual). They are certainly NOT yellow or beige. Once you have filled them, I am not sure you will really care about or notice the colour.Overall I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and have no problem recommending it. It will do my family just fine. If you are a high end kind of person, go for something higher end. Don't spend £20 and expect something costing £50, but for £20, it really is a bargain.

Lovely item. It is bigger and better than I expected and looks really nice. Packed very well and with care. I had to check it as I got it as a gift for a friend, but might get another one for own use.Looks nice and is great to have the base rotating, as well as being able to use it on its own, without the dishes ( which is not possible with other models).Very happy with the purchase and definitely recommend.

I've bought this as a gift. Was nervous after reading some of the reviews on here - but I know some people can be very petty which is why I've left my review - I had to open it to make sure it was all intact before wrapping it and couldn't be happier. The dishes are WHITE and all intact (thankfully the courier didn't chuck it about!) Looking forward to seeing the recipients reaction. I like the fact you can remover the dishes and just use the turntable for condiments if you want 👍

I was looking for a set of condiment bowls and stumbled upon this one on my search. It has so far surpassed my expectations in regards to quality. The bowls/sections are made of a heavy ceramic material and the spinning platform underneath is made of bamboo and seems quite sturdy. The box came well padded with air packets and bubble wrap. That being said, it was shipped within a second, bigger box (a box within a box seems a bit much, but it could be the postal’s decision), with only the smaller/inner box having a fragile sticker.

Was given one of these at Christmas, and have used it several time. As it holds so much, (more than you think), there was more room on the table and everyone could reach what they wanted just by spinning the wood base. I ordered this one as a gift, to be given this weekend.... the only snag, but one we over came, was that Bolo sent it in a large paper bag, and although the bag was in one piece although crumpled, the box inside was damaged on one corner. Luckily, we still had the perfect box ours came in, so we changed them over, thus the gift can now be given. Goodness knows what we would have done if we didn't have the spare box. A gift isn't the same if the first view is of a damaged box. (split and crumpled right in).

Firstly, and I may seem picky but the measurement given in the advert 35cm, mine is 33.5cm and thats the outer lip of the wooden base.The whole thing is very well made with solid overall construction.The dishes are adequately deep enough and the centre round dish is wider than I expected.One point to consider, if you are hosting say, more than 5 people you may wish to get more than one.
