Very impressed with this tape. I bought it essentially to repair the split hose on my vacuum cleaner. It has made a really good repair and the adhesion/thickness of tape was incredible. I believe this will be a durable repair. My husband also used some of the tape to repair a small leak hole on the water butt and although it is early days yet it has made a firm seal and no more leaking! I think there are numerous things one could repair with Gorilla Tape. It is a very large reel and really wide (but of course could be cut to width size required) so should deal with most repair requirements. Excellent product.

I love this stuff. Exactly what I was looking for. Firstly it's wide (about the length of a thumb) you also get a lot of it (I believe 27m - which is a lot considering the strength) - It's pricier than most duct tape type rolls, but worth it in my opinion.As to purpose, this stuff could be used for just about any type of repair jobs - For me personally I had an office chair that should have lots of life left in it structurally, but the leather had worn away with use. Seemed a shame to bin a £200 chair just because of leather fraying. So instead I patched it up with this. It might not be the most attractive repair job in the World, but it does exactly what I needed it to.This is just one of a million things you could use it for. Also worth noting is easier to tear than most duct tapes, and significantly stickier! Great product.

This is the BEST stuff out there!!! Seriously!!! Its amazing how strong it actually is. I use it for all sorts of jobs inside and outside and it doesn't matter if its wet, hot freezing or a storm, this tape holds it together.It really is as good as the adverts say it is.

I have used the regular sized Gorilla Tape before and think it is very handy for a multitude of uses.This is the same thing just enormous. If you really need the extra size or may be doing larger jobs with this then it is a great thing, otherwise it would be better getting a regular size roll which is still pretty hefty in size.Strong adhesive, waterproof and easy to tear with your hands.The tape is still black on this roll despite looking orange in the picture, that is just packaging.

I have used many adhesive tapes over the years and to be honest most are no better than sellotape but this tape is without a doubt the best and vey strong. I had a hot tub with a lid that was about 8foot square but could fold in half to use the hot tub. Over the years the joint down the middle became very weak and of course split in two. Stuck it with ordinary duct tape first use came a drift. Because I live in Cyprus I had to buy gorilla tape from Bolo and used that. But had to get help doing it from my wife because it had to be across the middle and because of it sticky ness I needed help. Well trust me this tape stuck it down and lasted at least six month’s when I decided to change the hot tub for a new one as the one I had was twent years old and was looking a little tired. I would highly recommend this tape if you want something that sticks and this certainly does that buy it .

This certainly seems to be the strongest and stickiest tape I have used. It also seems to be the one that people have found unusual uses for and I am no exception. We have a fig tree in a ½ barrel which has started to rot away and the metal bands that hold it together have slipped down. The tree is too heavy to move or repot so I have wrapped two lots of Gorilla tape round it to replace the bands (See photo in customer images). This has pulled everything together. It was slightly difficult to unwind from the roll as it seemed to stick at intervals and needed a strong pull when it suddenly unwound easily for a bit and then stuck again. I have given this tape 5* as so far it is great however I will update this review in the Spring after I have seen whether it will survive a Winter, so far it seems to have put up with heavy rain very well.EDIT April 014Well the tape survived better than the tub it was repairing, although the tub almost disintegrated over the winter the tape remained intact and still fixed to what was left of the wood. Much better than I expected.

It's holding my car together.
The Gorilla Glue tape on my car's front bumper and right fender has withstood the 2013-14 Minnesota winter without any peeling, splitting, or fraying. It's good stuff.UPDATE - May 26, 2015: The tape's still holding strong. Added more tape to seal off the broken moonroof to stop wind and moisture from getting in. Not afraid to run the Hyundai through an automatic car wash when it gets dirty.UPDATE - August 19, 2015: It's been over a year and the Gorilla Glue tape on my bumper and fender is still going strong, however, I had to re-do some of the tape around the Elantra's moonroof because the corners were starting to roll up (from the wind and sun?). It was sporadically raining when I replaced two long strips of the tape; it's still super sticky but surfaces must be COMPLETELY DRY to get a good seal. Not the tape's fault that it was rainingFINAL UPDATE - January 12, 2016: I sold the Hyundai... for another Hyundai. The Gorilla Glue tape was still holding. :PThe tape is amazing stuff.
