We bought two pairs of Bloch ballet pumps, the smart pointe shoes with ribbons (for class and "best" use) plus these elasticated band ballet pump flats, ideal for ballet use or as a comfortable house shoe. Good quality material and well stitched, Bloch have many great products with this the perfect daily use ballet pump in neutral colour.

Love these shoes. Deffinitely will be buying again. Recomended these for my sister who is looking for soft and flexible slippers for her little daughter. My daughter is wearing them every day at home since we received them. She loves them very much. Wasn't sure about sizing as in product description it says to order ordinary shoe size, but reviews are mixed. I thought - I will go 1 size bigger, just in case. I can always buy smaller, if these are too big, but did not want the hassle of sending them back or trying to sell them to somebody if they are too small. My daughter's feet are 16,5cm (long an narrow), ordered size 11B, fits perfect. yey, lucky me! :) got the right size. Will buy again when these are too small, this could be soon. Ordered ballet socks from same seller as well, very good quality. Happy customer! :)I am actually considering buying them for my toddler daughter as light, soft, flexible and non-slippery first shoes.

I bought a smaller pair of these for my 4 year old daughter about 6 months ago and they are so good, I came back and bought exactly the same ones, only two sizes bigger, again. They are real leather and feel and look beautiful. She probably prefers the rubbish Hello Kitty ones they sell in the shops these days. But I like these, they are real ballet shoes that would probably do 2 or 3 more children after my daughter has grown out of them, they are such good quality.

Not the best leather but for kids ballet shoes they are soft and do the job. Ready sewn in elastic straps are great and a perfect fit unlike others I have had before.

Like others have reviewed, these ballet pumps do come up on the small side. Following advice from other reviews, I ordered a size 1b for my daughter and they fit her perfectly. She wears shoe size 13 and has narrow feet. They arrived the day, in time for her dance class so no complaints from me :-)

We did go a size up even though it told is to buy her usual size as ballet shoes are usually small fitting and the sizing is perfect. My daughter is just heading into a uk13 and we ordered a size uk1. Fabulous fit with just enough growing room. The quality is brilliant and for the price you can't go wrong.

Ma fille les adores. Ces chaussons sont pour la maison afin qu'elle n’abîme pas ceux de la danse. Ils sont très bien. Par contre j'ai commandé un peu grand. Elle chausse du 29 et commandé du 33 vu la critique que ça chaussait un peu petit. J'aurai dû prendre seulement du 31.

I bought those cheap shoes as a backup. They fit true to size. I am a 36 in normal shoes bought a 36 here, absolutely perfect. They are not supposed to be roomy, as they mould to your feet and you (and your ballet teacher) can see the line of your feet clearly. If they are too big it is much harder to correct any mistakes. I love that the elastics are already attached. I am too lazy to do it myself. Crossover elastics would be even better but those you can get from a ballet shop, which is obviously a bit more expensive than these shoes.
Viel bessere Qualität als Billigstschuhe
Meine Tochter ist schon aus einigen Paaren von Ballettschläppchen rausgewachsen. Da mir die Bloch Arise immer zu teuer waren, habe ich die letzten Male sehr günstig ähnliche Schläppchen auf eBay gekauft.Nun, da ich vergleichen kann, muß ich sagen, daß die Qualität von Bloch um einiges besser ist. Das Leder ist dicker, das Futter nicht so schlampig verklebt und die Bänder zur Weitenregulierung können gut fixiert werden. Bei den billigen war ein Rundumgummi eingezogen, der einfach nicht halten wollte. Weiters mußte ich bei den billigen nach einiger Zeit die Laufsohle nachnähen, da die Nähte "durchgetanzt" waren und sich die Sohle gelöst hatte.Lieber ein bißchen mehr ausgeben und dann ist man zufrieden!
