Being a less well used oil it is difficult to get in most shops, when you do get it it may be past its 5 year shelf life. You can tell the date of manufacture as it is printed on the rear label, on this style it will be YYYY MM DD type of thing. Mine had a 2019 date and was an acceptable price. The older red bottles had the date on the front and would be something like 24515 meaning the 245th day of 2015

EP85/140 gear oil appears to be harder to source than the usual 75/90 grade. I was very pleased to see it on Bolo website, from Comma too so should be of good quality.

Hard product to find in retail stores, my local vehicle shop did not stock anything like this product and would have took a few days to source it for a similar price to what is on here. Since this is prime and I would get it next day, it was the obvious choice. It's as expected and there's plenty of it for repeated maintenance/transmission changes on my scooter.
