This 1 litre bottle of Comma EP80W-90 GL5 Gear Oil is a mineral based transmission oil specifically designed to enhance performance whilst withstanding extreme pressures in manual gear boxes and differentials. It has been designed to be suitable for cars and other vehicles that require mineral based gear oil and use synchromesh and constant mesh manual gearboxes and specify the use of either EP80W-90 or EP85W-90 API GL-5 oil. Other applications include rear axles, auxiliary gear boxes, oil lubricated CV joints, transfer and steering boxes.
Comma Oil and Chemicals was founded on a real ‘passion for performance’ in 1965 as a UK-based, independent oil 'blender'. Quickly establishing their products as being the first-choice supplier of engine oils to independent workshop mechanics in the UK, Comma has recently grown to distribute to more than 40 other countries around the world.

Not a lot to say about oil, Great price, Good quality plastic bottle which can take some abuse when you squeeze it, not having to worry if the bottle is going to split. Comes with a fill tube which some cheaper brands don't. worth saving the fill spout for use on bottles that don't have them.

This is one of favourite oils. Immediately when I opened it for the very first time, it's scent transported me back to 1967 and dear Great Aunt Agatha's stately pile in deepest Stockport. She used to use this to oil her horse-whip, before giving her troublesome butler, Ashcombe, a sound thrashing. Well, he had been at the Montrachet '53 again!
