A nice looking food which my gerbils have eaten without getting bored of it for many years. You get wheat grains, dried raisins, some pumpkin seeds in shells, squashed peas and squashed sweetcorn, some green, red and beige "pellets" - no idea what these are made from, and some dry hay pellets. You will notice that your gerbils probably have some preferences and do pick some things out and leave others. If you give them only a handful a day, this should force them to eat the stuff they like less (but which is still important for a balanced diet).However - none of the gerbils I've had ever even touched the dark green grass pellets. Rabbits have pellets like this, but for gerbils they don't even register as food. Wheat grains are also a very unpopular ingredient - they only eat them if that's the only thing left (which never really happens). That's a reason they lose half a star - about 10% of the content is just wasted. Another reason is that the composition varies from pack to pack, so some packs have a lot of wheat grains, and I find myself chucking out a good 10-20% of the pack quite often (even though I do try to mix the contents up as I go along, to give them an even blend of ingredients).The last time I bought this food, I noticed that the pack changed to being made with clear plastic - this is good as it allows you to mix the contents even better.To sum up - it's an almost perfect and inexpensive food (but do shop around a few of the main pet food websites as well as Bolo and eBay, taking into account the delivery cost). It has kept my gerbils as healthy as I think they can be. I also give them pumpkin seeds as treats (less fatty and more healthy than sunflower seeds), as well as some fresh fruit a few times a week like tomato, grape, blueberry or strawberry.

This Gerbil food is a good quality with variety of seeds and a very good size bag. It has pumpkin seeds which are my Richard's favorite.

Really great quality and a great mix of different seeds. Great thing about this mix is you can pick bit of the seeds out to give the Gerbils a little treat instead of just giving them it all at once, which is okay too if you would prefer. Fantastic price and kept in a container will last a long time.Highly recommend.
