Used on Audi A4Bought for one electric bike.Fits boot perfectly. Bought some 30cm bungees to hold the bike onto the rack and they are great too. Reasonably quick to affix. appears to be very strong and adjustable. Haven't noticed any major movement once strapped on.

The instructions on the box were in such awful English that I took a photo & posted it on facebook so all my friends could have a laugh! It took us an hour to work out how to attach it to the back of the car but once fitted, it's great. I would definitely recommend this product - very well made, strong & works well, no fear of it coming off along a motorway or anything like that. Bike fits on easily - supplying a bungie cord with it might have been an idea.

As other reviewers have said, the instructions inside the box aren’t very good. However, there are much better ones printed on the outside of the box, so make sure you don’t throw it away. I cut the instructions out and put them alongside the picture on the other side of the box which made it MUCH easier. You really need the picture to work out what goes where. We were new to carrying bikes and needed this in a hurry. The carrier does just what it says on the tin- basic and no nonsense but perfectly functional. The only problem with it was that there are only some very short canvas ties to secure the bike to the carrier which are not safe enough at all- you really need some long canvas straps with buckles to put around both carrier and bike to make it really secure. I would strongly advise buying some of those separately as the ones in the box are not fit for purpose. With that in mind, I still think this is a really good value product.

The instructions which come with this are laughable, had to look at other similar product manuels to figure it out although it isnt overly complicated the instructions were confusing. Once you figure it out its sturdy enough and I am happy considering halfords and co seem to only stock £250+ bike racks, my bike isnt even worth that much!

This is a brilliant carrier, firstly it slots comfortably over the wing on the car boot, and the long straps reach comfortably to the inner boot edge. Especially long distance on a Renault wind, very stable when all straps properly tensioned. I purchased pipe insulation to add to the frame for extra protection which being the same diameter as that on the carrier worked very well. But for the money it is really good. A very competent and reliable product.

This did not fit my car (Mercedes c class new shape). It also left scratches from the few minutes I had it on while trying to fix it on. Cannot believe any reviews saying this was easy to assemble as the instructions were very unclear and hard to follow. Waste of time having to buy and return this, I would not recommend

Carries 2 bikes easily but is a bit fiddly if they don't have cross-bars unless you have an adapter, and it's worth having something soft available to stop the pedals from fouling the car's paintwork. Although labelled "universal" it is NOT suitable for cars that have a a spoiler at the top or above the rear door.

Great for the money!
This universal Cycle carrier is great when you need it several times a year at most. To carry the bike to the repair shop, on a few times during the season you go to a nearby park within 30-min driving range. The carrier perfectly suits this purpose.The bike is fixed firmly, I had no issues with driving 100-120kph with the bike fixed at the rear. However, once you take the bike off, or once you open the boot, you will need to readapt, re-tighten the straps again, and it all takes time and is quite annoying.So if you are a keen cyclist and need this carrier for daily use - it is not for you. But at the price of 1/10 of a professional Thule bike carrier, this thing is just perfect.
