Used to remove some sticky pads left behind by previous tenant on some gloss painted doors and bathroom tiles.The top of the bottle is just a little hole, instructions are to pour a small amount on the sticker to be removed, which is easy for flat surfaces or items but harder for walls, doors and windows.I held a cleaning cloth under the area and poured it as slowly as I could to cover the sticker, it worked fine but does mean there is a lot of waste product.Came off the door with one application, the ones on bathroom tiles took two applications.It leaves behind sticky residue which I can't remove with the product or with cleaning wipes, thankfully it's not too noticeable.Also highly recommend using gloves, I got some residue on my hands while peeling off one of the stickers and it took washing my hands 3 times before it was finally gone.Appears to be renter friendly, I see no damage to any of the surfaces I used it on.

Just a quick review as I was impressed with the result just now. I’d been infuriated by stickers all over a small cricket bat. I’d bought it directly from a well-known high street sports retail outlet and assumed they’d be easy-peel. Nope. And half the black colouring stayed behind on the untreated willow. My other anti-glue expressly says not to use it on wood and after a few searches online I was happy to use this which I’d bought last year and have used a few times with no amazing results.Now, the fluid here appears to be of the same chemical composition as everyday lighter fluid (normally sold in curved-edge rectangular cans that have a rotating spout on top, you know the ones) with the addition of aromatics that mostly mask the standard smell in a cloud of oranginess. Overall, the effect reminds me of drinking too much Cointreau one night back in the 80s (which may be why I have so far avoided using this product much).Anyway, with my left hand in a plastic glove and a clean & dry washing-up bowl on a towel over my lap, I squirted fluid onto a cleaning cloth and rubbed it all over the patches on the bat, front and back. I whistled a tune to allow 90 seconds to pass (possibly the theme to “Laverne & Shirley” but I wouldn’t testify to that) and started scraping carefully at the black gluey patches.It took a second round of “squirt & scrape” and in total I used 10ml of my fruity fluid, but within 5 minutes of starting, I had a near-perfect cricket bat which was nearly blemish-free.At this point, I can’t say if the wood has been adversely affected. I doubt it’s actual willow, of course, and I was quick to wipe all liquid from the surface after finishing the job, so I’m hopeful that there will be no damage, but a drip landed on my cutting mat which bubbled up on contact, so I definitely recommend wearing gloves. Also, an open window is highly advisable. Actually, it wasn’t Cointreau, it was Taboo.I even remembered to take photos before and after (please see slide) so I’m feeling pleased for several reasons and intend to celebrate with a pint of chocolate milk which I hope will restore my nose to normal (because 1989 really needs to get back in its box now).Highly-recommended and worth it just for the scraper
