It's fresh and not overpowering in cooking.It tastes lovely and creamy it has a great natural coconut taste and does not overpower when cooking with it. I take a spoonful raw most days and eat it, its melts in your mouth. If my throat or tongue feels like a dried prune or it's wearing a fur jacket!!lol I eat a spoonful and you know it feels like a thirst quencher try it you'll feel an instant relief!I have read that Its got a lot of health benefits to many to mention but heres a few - Reduces Sweet Cravings and improves insulin secretion and utilisation of blood glucose. The healthy fat in coconut slowsdown any rise in blood sugar and helps to reduce hypoglycemic cravings.Quick Energy Boost that provides a super nutritious source of extra energy. Coconut is utilized by the body to actually produce energy, rather than to store it as body fat.This is a really good quality coconut you will not be disappointed.

amazing. don't want to repeat what everyone has said but this is the best (in terms of purest AND all round- organic, raw, cold processed, fairtrade, extra virgin, the list goes on) coconut oil i've tried, and for a reasonable price too for such a huuuge jar! the health benefits are abundant, it tastes clean and smooth, and not sweet or 'too coco-nutty' if you get what i mean, its perfect for cooking to replace veggie oil, i use it on my cuticles, my body, my hair as a pre shampoo treatment.. ah, the miracle of coconut oil, i'm well and truly converted!p.s - this has won awards so if you're going to invest in any coconut oil, i recommend this one (:

This is the first good coconut oil I have bought for cooking and chose it over other brands after reading the reviews here. They weren't wrong- the oil is light and delicate and smells like coconut candy. You can tell it is fresh and pure. I have used it for massages as well as cooking and it tastes delicious. Very light and by no means does it overpower dishes. You cant really taste it excessively because it so light and floral.I highly recommend this product - if you're looking at this you probably know it is much healthier than vegetable oils because of its higher smoke point. It also has MCFA which help to mobilise fat from fat stores and are available quickly to burn calories- hence it acts more like a carb than a fat. A good tool to have for those looking to lose some weight!

Delicious in cooking and my primary skin care product -- amazing on face and body. Just avoid the eyelids. Can create a film over the eyes, blurring vision temporarily. Skin drinks it in, feels moisturized and non-greasy. Melts at about 24 °C, so expect it to be solid unless you're a lucky duck in a warm climate. Warm it in your hands or bain-marie. Fyi, everything you've heard about oil pulling removing toxins is untrue. At best, some studies suggest it comes close to brushing teeth to reduce mouth bacteria, but it's not even as effective. Nice lip balm though.

This jar was nothing like previous jars I have purchased of the same brand of coconut oil. It not only didn't have the lovely scent Tiana usually had, but it actually had mold growing on top. Had to throw away.

Today I received Tiana coconut Oil by post.a) It was very well packed (important because it is in a glass jar).b) the gentle scent from the solid fat as we opened the lid was of faint coconut.c) This product has a most gentle taste. Tiana guarantee that no heat is used in the oil production - it is "cold-pressed". The fat is totally white and gives a "pure" impression.d) The health benefits proclaimed for coconut oil are many i) help with Alzheimers, ii) lowering blood sugars, iii) not increasing in weight, despite being a fat, iv) great in cooking, v) not too much as it could affect heart conditions.I compare this product with a jar of "Viridian" coconut oil that arrived yesterday. Viridian's was in a dark glass jar (more protection from sunlight). The scent and taste of the Viridian oil was delicately more noticeable. Tiana charge £2.49 for postage making Tiana's oil 45pence greater in price. I would recommend either, but prefer the Viridian product for the stronger scent and taste.

This is really good quality raw coconut oil. It's thick and grainy and looks quite pearly with a good natural smell and taste. It also comes in a glass jar so no chance of plastic leaching into the oil. Once a batch I ordered came in plastic jars so I returned it. Apparently there had been a temporary shortage of glass jars.

Love it will be buying more!!!

e' un prodotto fantastico se lo si usa crudo. le proprieta' dell'olio crudo, pressato a freddo, organico.....valgono il prezzo. nn ci rinuncerei!
