My daughter used this for her DoE expedition. We needed something for a lunchtime on day 2 and this fit the bill perfectly. I bought two so that she could try one before going and she really liked it. It was light to carry and very tasty. We used the high calorie pack out of the three versions (standard, high energy, double portion) which have different coloured packaging. When boiling water in the morning, to make porridge, my daughter opened the pack, poured some water in (200ml-ish but varies per pack), gave it a stir ("beautiful aroma" she said) and then resealed the top. We'd put a ziplock bag with foil inside to hold it, for extra leak-proof security and insulation. It was still hot to eat at lunchtime so that worked well. Food is important for morale when trekking so this was great and ticked all the boxes for us. Thoroughly recommend.

I thought this was ok actually. I didn't put in as much water as they said to and consistency was fine. Thought it tasted good for a freeze dried meal, with plenty of flavour. Ordering again.

Used for a wild camping trip in Scotland. Very light and tasted really good. I didn't find it bland as some reviews have said. Will definitely use for my next trip.

Took 2 of these camping for me and the mrs on an overnight wildcamp. Both were bland and very expensive for what they are. I would be tempted to take a couple of packs of instant noodles or instant pasta in a bag next time for a fraction of the cost.
