    I have just received these shears and tried them out after the wet weather on the hedge. They are excellent being very sharp, extremely light weight and easy to use. I was concerned that they seemed a bit pricey but they are well worth the money and I would certainly recommend them.

    Excellent shears, ideal for topiary, clipping hedges and grass. These shears are the lightest that I have seen, at just under 600g, and all the important bits - the blades, the nut/bolt assembly and the shock buffers - can be replaced, so all in all excellent value. I doubt if they could cope with thicker stems when hedge clipping but for box hedges, that can take time and need care, they are perfect.

    The rubber stops were too short, so that the shears closed too far and the cutting edges protruded at the side. This was dangerous for the fingers and left the edge vulnerable to damage. I had to correct it by inserting washers under the rubber stops. Poor quality control.

    Bought these as I injured my wrist using an old pair. These are light, easy to use, effective and are shock absorbing (very useful while my wrist gets better). I should have got a pair of these months ago!

    These shears are light and performed without blemish at the start.BUT after a few weeks the 'cutting edge' sharpness has all but disappeared. I didn't expect that. These were not cheap shears.

    These shears are good by design.The long handles give power which is utalised by the short sharp blades to do the business. Cutting a LONICERA hedge was easy and graduating to blackberry and Eleagnus and small bamboo was accomplished with no great effort.I hit a hidden bit if wire which needed sharpening out. I used 600 grit diamond file and apart from an annoying bump, which will reduce in time the shears are still functioning really well. I recommend them.

    These are the best shears I've ever bought. There light enough for me to use with my painful wrists.thet are razor sharp and have a nice action which means you dont have to chomp at hedge to cut it. Excellent
