My machine has 5kg increments so a 2.5lb and 5lb weight are just right for adding 3 intermediate increments (small weight, large weight, both weights). The actual increments are very slightly different to what you would get with a 1.25kg and 2.5kg weight, but close enough

Perfect for supporting progression when a 10k increase in weight on the machine would be too much and its nice to have the 2.5 to supplement the 5k which is readily available elsewhere.

Exactly what I expected. It makes a great difference on some machine where the difference between plates is 7kg; especially when I'm only using a light weight on some exercises. Without this I find it very difficult to step up the weights.I wish it was also available in red!
Handy weights
Makes it easier to keep increasing working load
Doesn't fit my Hoist.
Neither the 2.5 LB, nor the 5 LB add-on weights would fit my Hoist weight stack. See the attached pics. Body-Solid should include dimensions so customers can avoid this.

Wrong item was shipped by manufacturer. Seller (Amber Worldwide) was super responsive, and fixed problem completely, by getting correct product shipped, within a week. Really great customer service.
Fit perfectly on my Weider 9635 Pro weight machine
A much needed accessory for my weight machine since each plate is 12.5 lbs. This is that slight increase I need to move to the next weight resistance.
coming off of shoulder surgery
Had rotator cuff surgery one shoulder and a slap and bicep repair on the other so had to drop weights down using this to help gradually bring my weight up so far it’s been amazing !! Instead of jumping in fives if I jump in that 2 1/2 my shoulder is tolerating it well and I’m really happy with the results Fits on everything using dumbbells also ,
