My main issue is with the seller I bought this off. This was Blossom Lavender who advertised this on the Prime next day delivery. I ordered this on Saturday with delivery confirmed for Monday. Only at the end of Monday did I check my Bolo account that I saw an update to the delivery date to Thursday. I needed this urgently so i messaged the seller who did not respond. I then tried to request a refund in advance as i would return this as it would arrive after when i needed it by only to find out that i would have to pay for my own return which would have cost as much as the varnish itself.In the end i was left with little choice but to keep the tin which i will use for other projects. The varnish itself give a great high gloss and dried within a day to allow a second layer. As others have said, it is very smelly. It is also lacquer based so have white spirit ready to clean your brushes.There are other sellers who offer this at the same price so i would advise using one of the others.

I don't mind the smell of fresh paint or varnish but this stuff smells REALLY bad, so much so that we had to evacuate the room it was used in! It has a very strong petrol/diesel smell making the whole house smell like a submarine engine room - not good at all for people with breathing difficulties.Also it's very viscous, about the consistency of clear honey, which makes it a bit difficult to work with.So in future I can only use the remainder of the contents outdoors or on things that I can paint and dry in the shed rather than the house.Giving it only two stars for that reason. Only advantage is it's not too expensive.

Great glossy finish. But still tacky after 24 hrs !! Hoping it will eventually dry completely. Also , had a real ga4d time removing the lid .
