So this is basically the kind of food that's normally given to lab mice, as it contains all the nutrients in one block so the mouse is getting all the vitamins they need. However it doesn't offer much in the way of foraging which is also vital to a mouse's well being.It's great, since it prevents selective feeding (if my mouse could choose he'd just eat the sunflower seeds and nothing else - this prevents that!), but I'd still suggest mixing it in with a few other things for variety and to keep your mouse curious and alert.Mice need to forage, so it's an idea to give them other things as well as this. This product should be the main staple part of the diet, but a few treats and extra bits and pieces won't hurt. I normally make sure my mouse always has barley and oat flakes spare. Sometimes I'll hide a few sunflower or pumpkin seeds, wheat grain, nuts or some fresh fruit etc around his enclosure. All of which he loves having to dig around and find.Very healthy option- Most other mouse food such as the muesli contains all kind of nasties that they don't even need, whereas this one is purely tailored to a mouses needs (always check the ingredients). My mouse seems to like it, as long as he still gets other things to forage for along side it. :) All in all, I would certainly recommend if fed correctly. The resealable bag is really useful for keeping it fresh too.

My mice absolutely love these. They are big so I snap them in half but they go mad for them when I feed them these.I got two female mice and was unknowly sold a pregnant mouse. She had a perfectly healthy litter and she was perfectly healthy eating these kept thier fur nice and shiny. I know they are expensive but they are brilliant and I've already ordered more. I'd definitely recommend them for anyone with mice.

Good! I find that the pellets are a bit too big for my fancy mice, though, so I break them in half before putting them in the bowl.If something is too big for my mice, they'll nibble it for a bit, inevitably drop it, and then decide it's too dirty to eat! Breaking these pellets in half reduces some of that waste :)

My mice love this food, they eat them even when they have other foods available (nice things they also love like peanuts and millet). It works out very cheap to maintain our mice on this too. They have been eating it for over 6 months now and they're not bored of it yet (they used to pick through their last mixed-stuff food, chuck most of it on the floor or wee on it and then beg for treats at the door!) We have 4 mice and they're all bright-eyed, the right weight and healthy still. It's saved me waste, mess and money too so I'll happily recommend it. Although it is 'complete' our mice get small amounts of other foods too for a bit of variety and for 'foraging' purposes.

Our ancient mice, now over 4 years old, adore these mouse food pellets! I'm told by our vet that 2 is the average age that pet mice reach. I started feeding my mice pellets on veterinary advice and we haven't bothered with anything else! I may vary things with the odd tomato, piece of fruit or dried peas but it's mainly to make me feel better-the mice love these biscuits so I am not arguing! Our two boys, brothers, Tycho and Tesla are over 4 now and that in itself speaks volumes for this diet! Would recommend to anyone with mice who want the food eaten, not wasted.

My mice did not eat them took no notice of them at all and they had not eaten that day when I gave them to the little critters. So I tried my usual trick of mincing things up smaller and adding roasted unsalted peanuts but they fished out the nuts and left the pellets. My mice are wild and in convalescence so they literally eat anything but not this.

We chose this following extensive research believing it to be the best food for our pet mice. The ingredients are impressive, it is easy to handle - no mess. However despite my best efforts my mice WILL NOT EAT this product. I have had to cancel my subscription for what I thought was the perfect product. Apologies to the supplier,

I bought this about 2 weeks ago when adopting 3 unhealthy mice. I knew with this every one of them would be getting the proper nutrition they needed instead of one just eating a certain part of the mix and another eating other parts.In my case it was perfect but for variety I think it's important to encourage foraging behaviour so I'll be moving to a mixed food instead.The bag is much bigger than you'd expect.Only complaint is that the pellets are HUGE.
