A range of absorbent, air-permeable, self-adhesive dressing ideal for low to moderately exuding wounds. Mepore dressings are made of skin-frendly, water-based polyacrylate adhesive that provides a gentle and secure fixation. Mepore's porous Sontara non-woven fabric ensures air and water vapour permeability while the absorbent wound pad is manufactured of viscose with a low-adherent wound contact layer.
Directions
Remove the protection paper. Apply the dressing to the clean, dry wound with the adhesive side facing the skin. Change the dressing regularly depending on the amount of exudate.

There are 60 dressings in a box which makes them cheaper to buy. They come in different sizes too so you should be able to find the right one for you from their range.

These work great, they are definitely not waterproof (nor do they claim to be). These were recommended after toenail removal surgery and will very likely repurchase just to have around the house

Given that I have been accident prone my whole life, mepore is the way to go. The benefit of the dressing staying put whilst I shower or wash my hands is a game changer. My partner who is a chef wishes they could design a similar product for chefs. I find the decent value for money when buying off Bolo. They work on all body parts, arms, hands, knees, legs and even heels.

Unlike the Abena plasters, these are a lot less sticky. There's enough adhesion to keep it in place for quite long periods, but if you're constantly rubbing against it, it will start rolling up. Great plasters if you don't want a hair puller or worried about skin damage.
