I have found that it can get the job mostly done however it does take quite a while for it to do its work when there are definitely other rust removers that do the job a lot quicker and more efficiently

This stuff is absolute magic, it eats away the rust. I had no idea such products exist. In the past I would scrub with Brillo and bleach. But this stuff is so easy to spread combined with a brass brush it scrapes and eats away all rust. It did wonders to the shower curtain bar and the chrome around the light. Seriously, highly recommended. Would definitely purchase again..

I bought this stuff to renovate an old kid's bike that had been left in the open (although under cover) for several years. The bike itself was in reasonable condition but the chain gear was covered in rust. I tried vinegar (as recommended on some websites) but it wasn't up to the job.I therefore bought this, used it and it's done a good job. It seems to work in just minutes but then needs cleaning off. This is where I feel the instructions are a let down. According to them, the 'gunge' shouldn't be allowed to dry and should be wiped off, however how are you supposed to wipe it off a bicycle chain or gear cassette? It gets inside the chain links and gear teeth so 'wiping off' is not a particularly workable option. I ended up soaking a cloth in soapy water (using washing up liquid) and cleaning it off as well as possible. Thankfully I did this during our current heatwave so the water dried off very quickly.Now I don't know if this was an approach the manufacturer would recommend, so I would really like to have seen what they would recommend and not just to wipe it off.

Inizialmente scettico ho deciso di comprarlo per restaurare un vecchio baule di ferro vintage che presentava vernice scrostata alternata a ruggine.La sostanza, che si presenta di un acceso color fucsia, appena applicata comincia subito a frizzare sciogliendo la ruggine. Bisogna lasciarla agire qualche minuto senza farla asciugare, nel caso applicarla più volte, e poi grattare molto energicamente con uno straccio di cotone che rimuoverà il tutto. Sono rimasto stupito dal risultato, il baule ha un delizioso aspetto vintage e la ruggine è completamente rimossa.L’ho provato anche con delle viti (che vanno lasciate in immersione) e con della ruggine nello scarico del lavello, e ha funzionato a meraviglia.Il punto chiave è grattare energicamente con lo straccio di cotone, e nel caso ripetere l’operazione.È un po’ costoso, ma ne vale veramente la pena.

Seguendo per bene le istruzioni il prodotto riesce a rimuovere completamente la ruggine. Per i punti dove è più profonda va applicato più volte.
