I was going to go into Homebase just to get a basic sander as we only had one job to do - sand the floor in our bedroom - so I didn't want to spend a lot of money as I never intend to use the thing again once that job was completed. The Homebase models - even the "basic" range were fairly pricey, so I thought I would try Bolo.When i got this Silverline model it was £17 which was just the right price for me. The sander seems well made and sturdy and has a good length cable, which was a bonus. The sander did the job perfectly but only once I'd bought some decent sanding strips. The ones I bought with the sander from Bolo weren't velcro backed so were pretty poor and disintegrated within a few seconds. I just popped out and bought some velcro backed strips locally and before I know it the job was completed.Great sander, great price, no complaints

Purchased it to do just one job, pretty much the cheapest tool of its kind available.Did the job, looking good.Clamp for the sanding paper is a bit flimsy looking, but works!

As a beginner in all things d.i.y I was a bit worried I wouldn't be able to use this, however it's the most simple thing to use and sanded all my garden fences and didn't have a single problem, cheap and works makes the perfect bargain

Powerful, and sturdy machine for DIY home operation. Suits for stairs, and not large area. You need to combine with a triangular sander such as Bosch's to perfect sanding of stairs and corners. Using this type of DIY small machine, make sure you rest the motor every 1 minute. Using continuously this type of small sander always shortens machine life, and cause the rubber part to melt. In addition, safety goggles for eye, mask for covering nose and mouth, and a cap or shower cap to protect hair from dust is necessary. Sanding is best done in sunny, dry and not windy day.

Pratique pour une utilisation occasionnel
- J'avais un gros doute avant son achat...- Une fois le produit reçu, j'ai été très surpris de la connectique... Connectique à 3 fiches. Et après avoir cogiter 5 min, j'ai fini par dévisser l'adaptateur, pour avoir la prise française.Ce n'est pas l'outil du siècle. Mais, ce produit est certainement le meilleur rapport qualité/prix pour une utilisation occasionnel.Bricoleur du dimanche, j'avais besoin de poncer mon mur après avoir passer l'enduit. Je voulais éviter un ponçage manuel ; trop long et trop fastidieux. Sur ce type de surface, elle fait son travail. Ne lui en demandez pas trop pour son prix. Elle ponce point!Cette ponceuse m'a bien dépanné sur quelques m² et m'a permis de gagner quelques heures de travail.La machine est assez énergique:- Et donc bruyante.- Il faut avoir de gros bras pour éviter qu'elle parte dans tous les sens.- Je conseil de prendre des feuilles abrasives adaptées. Les classiques se déchire trop vite!- L'adaptateur à poussière à tendance à partirUn conseil:N'utilisez pas la machine sans masque et lunettes de protection au détriment de votre santé.
Bon produit
Après plusieurs heures d'utilisation je ne relève aucun problème particulier, cette ponceuse fonctionne très bien et son sabot équipé d'une bande velcro est très pratique et simple à utiliser. D’aspect solide et pas plus bruyante que ma vieille ponceuse Peugeot. Je recommande cette ponceuse.
Fait le boulot
Je l'ai achetée pour le ponçage du placo pour une maison de 100m2. Je pensais devoir en racheter une en plein milieu mais elle fonctionne parfaitement. Un peu bruyante mais pour un chantier ponctuel, elle fait très bien l'affaire.
