A range of absorbent, air-permeable, self-adhesive dressing ideal for low to moderately exuding wounds. Mepore dressings are made of skin-frendly, water-based polyacrylate adhesive that provides a gentle and secure fixation. Mepore's porous Sontara non-woven fabric ensures air and water vapour permeability while the absorbent wound pad is manufactured of viscose with a low-adherent wound contact layer. Mepore dressings are suitable for a wide variety of wounds which have low to moderate exudate levels including: surgical wounds, minor burns, cuts and abrasions.
Directions
[Approximate] Gently clean the wound, pat dry it, remove the protector from the dressing, apply the bandage to the wound being careful not to touch the adhesive surface with the wound, and press firmly to ensure proper adhesion.

I tried these bandages for the first time recently and was quite pleased with them. The bandages are comfortable to wear, even for prolonged periods. They stick well, even on awkward areas, with no curling at the edges. But they also peel off quite easily without doing any further harm to damaged or thin skin. They are light and breathable, allowing air to get to the wound to speed up healing. And they are very good value for the money. They are well packaged in a sturdy box.They are a good size and would cover most wounds. I couldn't find many other companies doing bandages at this size. The pad size is 6 x 6 cm or about 2.4 inches. I would definitely get these again.

Ordered as ordinary sticking plasters aren't big enough for children's grazed knees! I like these because they don't stick to wounds so allow it to dry out still. The fabric is soft so comfortable for little people to move with and they stick very well. Word of caution when needing to remove though, soak well first, don't try to rip off as they do adhere very well! The price of these is slightly cheaper than buying individually at the chemist in my experience,

Greyhounds are terrible for getting wounds in their very thin skin and they all seem to be (lately) in very awkwards spots where you can't use a traditional bandage. These size of Mepore dressings are great - put one on yesterday lunchtime and it stayed on until this morning! Even had to work quite hard to detach it from fur on one side so proves it is pretty lick-proof!

used these for a long-term infection, can be a little painful to peel off and the adhesive part can come loose if the part of the skin is quite sweaty, however lasted a very long time and kept my wound protected and clean
