Had a very small oil leak from a Valve Cover on a BMW, that just would not seal at all no matter what, even after gasket replacement. Gave this a try and within 20 miles no leak, no burning oil smell and no drips onto the Manifold. Was very surprised as most of these products never work, but this did. Great product, would use agin.

Didn't think this would work ha e Mercedes gla45amg and notice a oil leak underneath which would probably have cost me hundreds to repair gave this a try and to my amazement it worked gave it a few weeks it started to get smaller then completely has disappeared so highly recommend this product 😀

I was expecting very little from an "magic oil stop leak" product but it's actually not terrible. The bottle itself looks terrible and the instructions are....... ropey at best but it does genueinely seem to have reduced my oil burning. My valve seals have been letting oil past ever since I got my car but they are letting noticibly less oil though now. It's not a miricle fix, but it has made a difference, so for £15 I am happy to recommend this.

This stuff looks like Golden syrup or honey mixed with a glue but obviously it is not this. it is proper oil and mineral based product just very viscous. Followed the instructions and so far I am pleasantly surprised. The annoying leak has stopped, need to put some serious hot driving in and see if I still leave a small puddle in the works carpark.My advice to make use easier - it is better if the outside temp is not close to freezing, the colder the temp the thicker the unmixed product the harder to pour.Update after 600 miles, has reduced the leak but not by much, obviously it cannot work for all leaks.

I used the product like duz on the packaging and it didn't work, I even increased the dosage and no solution!!! The engine gasket kept leaking as well as money out of my pocket for spending on this product! 😡 Disappointing

This was easy to drop into my oil sump , it's very very thick , whcih I thought was great when I saw it as I was hoping that this product would stop a small leak in my engine oil sump. I added this to my regular DIY oil & filter change , 3 week slater and 200 miles on the oil leak has stopped. This stuff does what it says on the tin . 10/10 from me .

This product has been negatively reviewed far too many times, and I felt compelled to write a review on it. I have used this product on 3 cars with oil leaks, and my family has used it on their cars as well. My family has had great success with minor oil leaks, and 2 of my 3 cars I have used this on resulted in their oil leaks ceasing completely. My other car turned out to be a decent sized crack in my oil pan gasket, which explains why throwing some Stop Leak at it didn't solve my issue. This product helps greatly to repair old, hardened seals, but it doesn't falsely advertise to bring about miraculous results in moderate to major issues. My point is, this product works extremely well for it's intended purposes, and I feel that all of the negative reviews should be taken with an grain of salt. It would be spectacular to hear, from the negative reviewers, what sort of issues ended up being diagnosed in the cars this product didn't help. I'm by no means trying to put down the negative reviewers, but it does get a bit frustrating reading reviews on Bolo like "Put it in my car, didn't work, still leaking, crap product" or "I contracted a flesh-eating bacteria, and this 'highly rated' Neosporin didn't work. Don't waste your time. 1 star. Booooooo!!!!" Lucas Stop Leak is a great product for it's intended purposes, has been used and trusted by amateur and professional mechanics for years, and fully deserves a solid 5 stars.

j avais une grosse fuite au joint spy vilbrequin de ma peugeot 307 de 2004 . j ai vider l huile moteur et j ai mis le bidond entier et j ai fait l appoint d huile pour etre sur ! j ai plus eu de fuite depuis 2 semaines ! a voir dans le temps
Good, but caution!
This stuff is great. So many little problems with my old engine have gone away. Its much quieter and smoother. BUT oil pressure has increased (not surprising - this stuff is really thick), and now i have new oil leaks from other joints...
