It enhances the flavour of coconut cake & dessert recipes. I used it instead of desiccated coconut and it makes a cake more moist. OK it's more expensive than buying desiccated coconut but well worth it. Couldn't resist just eating it straight from the bag, had to stop myself as there wouldn't have been any left for cooking with.

I am a baker for my family. I look for good product when I am baking bakers, coconut my mother used to use it when I was a little girl. Now I am a baker for my own family. Bakers has never change. You can not find this in any of the groceries within a 100 miles of where we live. I thought maybe they didn’t make it anymore and I decided to try and find it online. I was so pleased to find it here and it’s very fresh. A little high, but worth it.
