If you need a lightweight but strong clamp for smaller jobs, this one’s a must.The build quality is immediately apparent. The clamp feels robust but light, with a tough resin body and steel reinforcements where it matters. It’s designed to be easy to handle one-handed — perfect when you’re juggling materials or positioning workpieces.Using the clamp is wonderfully intuitive. The trigger mechanism allows for quick, precise adjustments — just squeeze the trigger and the jaws tighten smoothly onto your material. It grips very firmly without requiring a huge amount of effort, making it ideal for delicate woodworking, gluing projects, or securing parts while you drill.One of my favourite features is the soft pads on the clamping surfaces. These protect the workpiece from marring or slipping, even on softer woods like pine or MDF. I’ve used it on painted surfaces too with no marks or dents left behind.Despite being labelled a "mini" clamp, it’s surprisingly strong. The clamping pressure is more than enough for holding glued joints or small frames together while they set. It’s great for hobbies like model making or craftwork as well.The quick-release button is another brilliant feature. Press it once and the jaws open smoothly without fighting or struggling, saving a lot of time when repositioning.If I had to suggest one minor thing, it’s that the 150mm (6") capacity is a bit limiting for very large projects — but IRWIN make larger versions if you need more reach.Overall, the IRWIN QUICK-GRIP Mini Clamp is strong, reliable, and incredibly user-friendly. These aren't heavy duty clamps and aren't advertised as such. I needed some small handy clamps to be used with one hand to hold stuff just well enough. I have bigger, metal clamps that exert more pressure and are longer. These small ones are great for holding smaller things when I need an extra hand or two. Very useful and good price.

Premessa: cinque stelle per me sono sinonimo di un ottimo prodotto in rapporto soprattutto al prezzo di acquisto, in offerta su Bolo a 14,46 €. Certamente non significa che siano i migliori stringenti al mondo, ma in rapporto al prezzo ed alla qualità non ho trovato di meglio!Sono un appassionato del fai da te avanzato e nel tempo libero mi piace dedicarmi soprattutto a questo hobby. Ho acquistato questa coppia di strettoi (stringenti da falegname) in quanto sono degli strumenti indispensabili per incollare o tenere unite e ferme delle parti in legno e non solo, utilissime soprattutto nel campo del fai da te dove, spesso per ragioni di semplice equipaggiamento, non si hanno mezzi per sopperire ad una sua eventuale mancanza. Ho letto numerose recensioni dello stringente in argomento e ho colto l’offerta per acquistarli, devo necessariamente precisare di essere rimasto molto soddisfatto del prodotto tant’è vero che ne ho acquistata un'altra coppia. Preciso che strutturalmente il prodotto si presenta forte e resistente, la forza del serraggio è notevole. Il rivestimento delle ganasce è in gomma morbida (sono 4x2,5 cm), il grilletto ergonomico consente un rilascio morbido anche con serraggio forte. La barra centrale è in ferro mentre le altre parti sono in plastica ma di ottima qualità. Apertura massima per serraggio mm 175, pressione del serraggio kg 70, perlomeno la casa riporta questa informazione. Purtroppo NON può essere usato in espansione, è l'unica loro pecca.IL MIO GIUDIZIO:In sostanza se state cercando degli stringenti per legno utili e funzionali allora siete nel posto giusto; dopo più mesi di utilizzo posso affermare di essere soddisfatto dell’acquisto quindi mi sento di suggerirli e consigliarli, introvabili per qualità a questo prezzo. Se non si ha necessità di una presa "esagerata" sono da acquistare. Per quanto riguarda la durata non posso esprimermi a priori ma se qualcosa dovesse cambiare non avrei problemi ad aggiornarvi, anche se la casa produttrice ormai è sinonimo di qualità ed affidabilità. Bolo 10 e lode, con Prime la spedizione è arrivata in 24 ore, ancora una volta ha dimostrato grande serietà ed affidabilità. Spero di esservi stato utile prima dell’acquisto. Grazie!
