Promotes faster healing and helps reduce the likelihood of scarring. Its hydro-active colloid gel creates optimal healing conditions. How to use: Clean and dry the affected area thoroughly, gently apply the gel using clean hands, do not massage. Gel can be applied once or twice a day. If required cover the wound with a bandage or plaster. Store in a cool dry place. Do not use on extensive weeping or infected wounds unless recommended by your doctor. If necessary, cover the wounds with a plaster or dressing and change daily. Savlon Advanced Healing Gel can be used for dry or wet wound: In case of a dry wound Savlon Advanced Healing Gel turns the dry wound into a moist one (hydrogelInches effect). The dry wound absorbs the water contained in Savlon Advanced Healing Gel. In case of a wet wound, the hydrocolloid of Savlon Advanced Healing Gel is activated and consequently Savlon Advanced Healing Gel absorbs excessive fluid from the wound and restores the water balance in the wound (hydrocolloidInches effect). Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Hydrocolloid particle that swell upon absorption, Tri ethanol amine: PH adjuster. While allergic reactions are rare stop using and seek medical help if you experience: difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, tongue or throat, dizziness, skin irritation or rash. Precautions For external use. Side-effects such as irritations or allergic reactions are rare. Do not use the Gel on the eyelids or in the eyes. If Savlon Advanced Healing Gel comes into contact with the eyes, rinse the eyes with running water and consult a doctor. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a doctor before using Savlon Advanced Healing Gel. Savlon Advanced Healing Gel is a sterile single use medical device. Re-use imposes a risk of infection. Please do not use in case of known sensitivity to Savlon Advanced Healing Gel or any of its ingredients. Removing the gel Wash hands before and after removing Savlon Advanced Healing Gel.

Had a really bad burn on my wrist, applied this a couple of times a day once the blisters had burst. It dries out the skin and starts to peel off like PVA glue (gross I know) the pharmacist said this was perfect so I continued and the scarring is minimal.

This is the second tube I’ve bought and I’m a firm believer that something is good if you buy it again. The gel is clear, thick and soothing. I have open blisters so it can sting a little when applying but this goes off very quickly.It forms a thick skin over the wound that dries and protects. The main reason for a repeat buy is how quickly it aided the healing process. The gel speeds up the healing and makes the wound noticeably less sore.One thing I have learnt is to let it dry before covering it or applying any pressure. I applied it to a blister on my back and then (rather stupidly) sat down. My T-shirt stuck to my back and I had to gently peel it off. No damage done, it wasn’t stuck fast but it taught me to let it dry before letting anything touch it.Worth the price. A must have in the cupboard and holiday washing kit.

This stuff is great. Good sized tube and a Good cost. A must have for the first aid box!Leaves skin smooth and feels hydrated to. For a gel it dries in quickly and doesn't leave a sticky residue like some. Has sped my cut on my arm which was struggling to heal with normal cream.

Savlon Wundheilgel
Sieht aus und riecht wie Sekundenkleber. Ist halt die Wahrheit xD. Finde ich aber nicht negativ.Riecht aber nur in der Tube so. Nach dem Auftragen merkt man nur noch 10% davon.Je nach Menge und wie viel einzieht, bleibt ein Film auf der Haut zurück. Sieht dann so aus als hätte man an der Stelle richtig trockene Haut. Wenn es zu ist und vor Bakterien schützt ist ja gut. Eine Rötung an der Handoberseite die mit anderen Salben nicht weggegangen ist. Ist nach 3 Anwendungen nach 3 Tagen weggegangen. Wegen Narben kann ich nichts sagen.Erste Bestellung ist leider nicht angekommen. Kommt leider aus dem Ausland. Nach 3 Wochen hab ich mal nachgefragt, ob noch was kommt. Ersatz wurde sofort versprochen und war nach einer Woche da.
