I could pretend I bought this to thicken up homemade gravy and make top-notch soup, but... nah.This was purchased for one thing only: slime. I had intended to get borax, but could only find borax substitute online. With the sketchy reports regarding safety of borax, and knowing how much of this stuff my daughter and her friends had wanted to make (endlessly and repeatedly), perhaps it was just as well they didn't have any available to buy.And so, using glue, corn starch and I have no idea what else, mixed with a tiny bit of whatever else they could find to colour it, they set about making slime. And more slime. Personally, I can't stand the feel of this slime stuff but sure enough, it was very slime-like and suitably disgusting. The kids were pleased, and we now have containers with slime in every conceivable colour decorating their bedrooms. I'm not sure what happens next - is it like a room decoration? Do they model things out of it? I haven't the foggiest. As long as it avoids contact with the floor and doesn't end up dirty, fluffy and even more grotesque than it already is, then I think I can live with it.

I continuously reordering this product because, it thickens in a good texture for gravy, i can also use for many other things, good product I’m sure I will buy again very soon.

I use it as a thickener for gravies, sauces and one pot dishes. I'll either make a roux (cornflour and melted butter as a thickening base) or just add some to cold water, mix, and slowly pour into the desired pot, I usually take the pot off the heat to do this to ensure no flour gets boiled and you get those tiny little dumplings. Yuck. Super cornflour though, and is excellent for what I need it for. 🙂

Not easy to buy cornstarch in Australia. We provide cornflour , call it cornstarch but it's different if you research details.
