Have been looking to replace my old well used sewing machine of 40 years , with another heavy duty machine, so I decided to go for the Singer 2273 Tradition,It is just the right weight, much better than the computerised machines , has easy use dials , plenty of different stitches , I am really pleased at how easy it is to use, a very good buy.

Lovely compact machine easy to operate and not too heavy. I have a bad back and can't lift anything too heavy but this is just perfect, the only problem was the instruction book was not in English I had to download an English version online.

This machine has a lot of important aids for the sewer - automatic threader, thread cutter, buttonhole in one, button sewer, etc - which makes sewing much easier and more pleasant. It is modern, lightweight, not too bulky, and is attractive to look at.All that is missing is a hard cover to protect it.I look forward to using it for many years.

Very good machine for beginners. Plenty of choices for stitching. Easy setup and operating. I had an issue with delivery when DPD was not very easy approachable - the app was not quite working and website did not take my changes, so I had to go to the local depot in person to collect it. But the machine is very good. I would recommend it.

Delivery from Bolo was excellent.Carried out extensive reviews on Bolo for this product and are very pleased with the build qualityof the machine along with all the features it has to offer. Quality of the stitching is excellent with plentyof options. My only complaint is that the product video on Bolo is incorrect as this model sewing machine DOES NOT HAVE A RULER ON THE SIDE OF THE TOOL BOX, I have checked directly with Singerabout this and they checked several 2273 machines in the warehouse and no none of them have the ruler fitted. A very useful additional feature that could very easily be added to help future customers and sales.I give this product a 5 star rating.

I bought this sewing machine for my great-grandmother as an early Christmas present. Forever complaining about the stitching in her clothing coming undone, lamenting losing her very-very old Singer from years gone by in a house move about 6 years ago, and going through several other smaller, cheap sewing machines, I decided on splashing out on a new model Singer similar to her old one. She was adamant I shouldn't get her one that cost over £100, but I'm glad I did.She was delighted with it. I know nothing of sewing, so all I can tell you is that she's extremely pleased with all of its functions. I decided on this model over the 2263 because of the 1-step buttonhole function. I only know vaguely what that entails, but suffice to say it's a pleasing feature for someone who has failing eyesight like my great-grandmother... as is the self-threading feature.The product came exactly as described, with a lovely box of various threads and a set of 3 sewing scissors which was a pleasant - if unexpected - addition. I bought from Cooper Sewing Machines LTD. Their delivery was especially speedy (arrived next-day, ordered on a Friday before noon, delivered around 9am sharp) and the product was brand new, British plug.If I wasn't her only great-grandchild, this present would definitely make me her favourite.

I have a job to use this machine. A beginner would get annoyed with its performance. At the end of your sewing, its necessary to pull out the thread for about seven or eight inches. Otherwise it gets jammed up in the bobbin area and the machine will not work. If you want to fill up a bobbin, then you have to undo all your hard work of threading the machine and concentrate on this one action. The threading of the needle is quite good.

Die Maschine näht zuverlässig mit vorwiegend kleinen Stichen. Das ist aber für mich angenehm, da ich vorwiegend dünne Stoffen verarbeite, wie Seide und Baumwolle. Allerdings klappt der von shopty angebotene online Link zur Anleitung nicht, daher wäre ein Punkt Abzug angebracht. Ich habe aber über die Suchfunktion weitere links anderer Anbieter gefunden und konnte nach einigen Minuten die Anleitung finden und somit auch die Maschine bedienen. Allerdings habe ich schon einige Näherfahrung mit anderen Singer Modellen. Die 2273 ist leicht, das finde ich wunderbar da ich keinen festen Nähplatz habe und somit flexibel bin, die Maschine hat trotzdem einen guten Stand und bietet unglaublich viel für den Preis eine Sensation. Die 23 Nähprogramme sind mehr als ausreichend und der Freifuss ist eine feine Sache für geschlossene Nähprojekte wie Ärmel und Hosenbeine. Die Unterfadenspule wird in eine Metallspule eingelegt, auch die Unterplatte ist aus Metal, was mir gut gefällt, denn eine Plastikplatte zur Abdeckung des Unterfadens ist zwar wegen der Einsicht praktisch doch nicht in der Nähhandhabung, da diese oftmals aufspringt. Daher vereint die Singer Tradition 2273 viele Pluspunkte. Ich bin bislang sehr angetan, nur die Suche nach der Anleitung war problematisch, doch das ist Sache des Verkäufers, dafür kann die Nähmaschine nichts, mit dieser bin ich äußerst zufrieden. Den Einfädler muss man allerdings üben, ich fädle einfach klassisch den Faden in die Nadel ein.
