Works as stated. I was looking the product by name and was willing to pay the stated price to get it, so I shouldn't complain, but... I can't help feeling it's very, very expensive for a sachet of descaler.

Ordered on 10 Sep 2019. Not sure if it works because the date printed on the packing is 26 Sep 2019. That's 5 yrs ago.
Clean you Coffee Maker
If you love coffee you need these. It really doesn't matter if you use a machine or a kettle. A scale remover is a must!This particular scaler is quite strong and one package is enough to tackle several scaling jobs. I used this one in my Dolce Gusto machine, the Keurig (that is hubbies machine) and in the kettle we use to boil water for tea.This comes in a powder form so I used a large bucket to mix the entire pack up, then filled the 3 appliances with the water and followed the directions to clean through each of them. It did a great job and is especially noticeable in the kettle since it is much more visible and probably cleaned a lot less than my coffee machines.I did find that it took quite a few run throughs after the cleaning was done to really eliminate the cleaner, but that could have just been me and my paranoia. Probably my paranoia.

Decent descaler
Not bad, I used it to descale my toilet and shower head. It worked really well on the shower head by leaving it submersed for an hour , but for the toilet it didn't work very well even though I used pretty much the entire package.
Always works, cleans anything
I have used this in both commercial & residential applications. First purchased it years ago to clean the urns & brewers at our shop. Snuck some home & went at it again. This will remove ANYthing that decides to take haven in your previous brew devices. Back to sparkling new again.
SAVED MY KEURIG
I tried everything short of hydrochloric acid to clean my Keurig. Would work for a few days and plug up again. Was ready to cut my losses. Then I tried the Dezcal. Great stuff. Cleaned my Keurig and it's been good for 3 months so far. Don't even think about buying anything else.Update March 2015 - I have a Honeywell Steam Humidifier. Each spring it needs a cleaning and I like to soak the coil to remove the hardness that is baked on. In the past I used CLR. This time I mixed up some Dezcal and soaked the coil in it for 4 hours. Wow amazing. It cleaned it up like new. Better than CLR ever did. I but a package every time I order for Bolo just so I have it in stock.Next Im going to use it to soak my kitchen and bathroom faucets to remove the scale that is starting to build up.
