Basically these are a relatively cheap pair of over trousers and not something a serious walker would buy, they are not a fashion garment, so quite why there are so many negative comments about pocket slits facing the wrong way and them being a bit baggy I am not sure. I bought these to wear when pressure washing the drive or to slip on if I wanted to do something outside when it was raining and to that end they fit the bill very well. The size fit seems to be about right for waist measurements and as others have said they are a bit baggy in the legs, but that is what you need if pulling them on over boots or your wellies and you will not feel restricted when wearing them. They are made from a coated nylon type material and should be water and wind proof, they have an elasticated waist and although of a stitched rather than bonded construction all the seams are taped to make them waterproof, they also have studs on the bottom of the legs. The material is quite soft and flexible with the usual swishing noise when you walk around, overall these are good value for what you pay and delivery was very quick. Just one final point regarding the pocket openings facing the wrong way and potentially letting water blow in, just put them on with the label at the front! And the slits will be the right way around. With these there is absolutely no difference in front or back, these are not a tailored pair of trousers, they are over trousers so does it really matter where the label is?

These trousers were of lovely quality and colour and would be excellent value, however the pockets were back to front, however I put these on. The waist rise is quite shallow, on a waterproof trouser I would have thought a high waist would be preferable to get on as over-trousers. They were also very long which is great if that's what your looking for but too long as over trousers over wellingtons, (I am 5" 8) A real shame, I was surprised that this well known brand were selling these strange shaped trousers. I returned them and received my refund no problem.

Every day I spend a few hours cleaning my stables, paddock, feeding etc. That includes the winter. Dog walking comes next on the activities, again, daily. In the winter these trousers more than fit the bill. The 5 stars come from the fact these are my second pair, the first still completely functioning, no rips. These replace a much more expensive pair that ripped at the groin when I bent down/squatted to see the animals. Those ripped good and proper. So why buy these? The seams are not those glued on type you often get that just fall to pieces. These are sturdy, they will take a bit of time in the washing machine and still remain just fine (OK, a low temp wash, but why go higher?)When it comes to being waterproofed they take the hose being accidentally set onto me, they work great with the power washer. So there are a big 5 stars there. Capturing big Zwarble sheep, fussy goats and then imp aliasing them for hoof care, worming etc, these let me have the mobility I need, but they also don't rip. So they are as sturdy as they need to be in my book. To be fair, I don't know about the pocket thing because I never stick my hands in my pockets. They do take into account the under trousers, provided you aren't wearing something massive.With a decent pair of wellies, these will keep you dry and fairly warm in wind. No, they are not pretty, but neither are most farming chores. After one use you forget about brands and pretty looks, you just want 'keep me clean and dry'. These do the job and all for under £10!

I purchased these large, shiny, baggy overtrousers not to look like a disgruntled British fisherman, but to keep whatever trousers I had underneath safe and dry from the great British weather that we like to call rain.Imagine my excitement yesterday when I had a free afternoon from the wife, a dog in need of walk, a route planned carefully ensuring that I both left from my front door and returned to it within a 5 mile radius, and most importantly, rain. I drank my coffee rapidly before leaving house as I didn't want to risk taking it with me for fear of being set upon by the local constabulary and being arrested for having a picnic. I blame Boris.The route took me through the local hills and woodland, the rain lashed down, not a soul about, the woodland car parks were empty, not even a dogger in sight. I blame Boris.On my return to the house some 3 hours later, I boldly walked into the hallway, slipped off my shoes and peeled off my Regatta waterproof overtrousers which appeared to be as wet on the inside as they were on the outside. My jeans underneath, to my astonishment, appeared to be even wetter than that. Now, I'm a 46 year old man, and that my friends makes me about 16 years above the target age for skinny jeans. However, like many British men my age, I cling to my youth like a dog with a bone, and I refuse to give up and buy slacks. I haven't been able to touch my toes for about 10 years, which made the removal of my very wet skinny jeans from my very wet fat legs about as easy as removing wallpaper. It was at precisely this moment, whilst sat on the cold tiled floor, which by now was equally as wet as the fat arse sat upon it, that my muddy wet dog mounted my back from behind to thank me in his own special way for taking him on a long walk. Who would've thought he would still have that much energy left, who would've thought he would still have that much strength? Luckily for me, he hadn't spotted the wet overtrousers bundled up on the floor and with one of his more energetic thrusts, his rear paws slipped from under him and he fell in a heap, giving me the opportunity to crawl to the kitchen on all fours (with my skinny jeans still refusing to let go of my calves).The dog and I still haven't made eye contact. The wife is oblivious.I will not trust these trousers in the future and will look elsewhere. The only positive is that they cost just £10.

No es transpirable, es puro plástico. No tiene para regular la cintura, solo una goma poco fuerte. Bolsillos abiertos para acceder a los del pantaón de bajo pero por ahí colaría la lluvia. Muy mal Regatta, no esperaba esta calidad.

Ideali per affrontare climi piovosi, specialmente in viaggio

Questi pantaloni da pioggia della Regatta sono stati una rivelazione durante il mio recente viaggio in Islanda, dove il tempo è noto per essere piuttosto imprevedibile. Sono incredibilmente leggeri e si ripiegano facilmente in una piccola tasca, occupando pochissimo spazio nello zaino. Quando la pioggia inizia, sono veloci da indossare e mantengono perfettamente asciutti. Il materiale è traspirante, quindi non ci si sente umidi dall'interno, e allo stesso tempo abbastanza robusto da resistere anche a giornate intere sotto la pioggia. Li consiglio a chi cerca una soluzione efficace e pratica per climi piovosi.

Taille grand, j'ai pris une taille au dessus en me disant que j'allais le porter au dessus de mon pantalon alors fallait voir un peu plus grand mais j'ai fais une erreur. Il faut prendre sa taille habituelle
