Why did you choose this product over others?:A friend had one and it looked so useful, It is! Well made, great size for holding so many paints, brushes, pens etc. I've used it for months now and it looks like new. Very sturdy and of high quality.

This item is very flimsy. The plastic supports for shelves keep popping off. When opening and closing you have to do this very carefully/slowly holding the shelves otherwise it buckles and the supports pop off. It serves a purpose which is why I have kept it but it is not robust at all and I feel not worth the amount I paid for it.

Not fun, not educational and not a toy!!but absolutely perfect for carrying my art stuff to art group - I have one for art pens, inks and pencils, one for watercolour and paint brushes and another for all the bits and pieces like scissors etc.. The two upper trays are sectioned and just right and the base is plenty big enough for my bottles of ink to stand up properly. When opened the lid drops right back to the table and balances the whole thing perfectly allowing complete access to all areas. I'm not convinced that I completely trust the lock when it's heavy with expensive bottles of ink & in this case I feel happier with an extra tie round it. I give it 4 stars - one star witheld because of my slight, maybe unfounded, hesitation over the lock -I'm just not willing to chance seeing all my lovely inks flowing around the floor!!

Given the very reasonable price, it was (at least a little) more robust than might have been expected; & compared to other models available, certainly stands out for being unusually practical & accommodating in its storage design - just what I needed. Disappointingly, the first caddy had arrived damaged, but I have to say, the standard of response of the Seller's Customer Service more than made up for that & was absolutely brilliant - a swift & reassuring email back to me (during the weekend), & a perfect (much better packaged-protected) replacement arrived within 2 working days.

Of all the art boxes I have had, this is the best one. For me, the fact it is see-through, enables me to look for and select my tool or medium before I actually open the box. Much like when a see-through plastic pencil cases allows the owner to keep a good eye on what's inside. Much easier to find everything straight away.The many compartments hold a wide range of items, such as in my case ....paintbrushes, pencils, pens, rubbers, 37 ml paint tubes and medium size pritt sticks. Whilst a 30 cm ruler, tissues, rags, chunky 7cm high pots and a large pencil sharpener bin sit neatly in the base of the box, with still room left over for other stuff.The structure of the box and drawers which pan out when opening are well made, as are the sturdy plastic carrying handle and locking device or latch. Definately well worth the money.Obviously, this carry box can cater for any hobbiest really, such as for cake making, jewellery making, graphic designing, card making, model making etc........any hobby which calls for a range of diffent size tools and materials. I love it and I'm sure you will too.

I purchased this as a lightweight carry case for transporting my pottery tools and apron between home and classes. It's not a heavy load and not a long distance. I have maybe 15 small bamboo handled tools and a couple of cutting wires. The heaviest thing in there is a wooden kidney which weighs less than a full tube of acrylic paint.I picked Daler-Rowney as previous boxes that I have bought from them have been bomb-proof. I still have the one I bought for college 30 years ago.This broke FIRST outing.The entire box is thin, cheap plastic. The trays inside are flimsy and attached to the main body of the box with thin plastic 'arms' which pop through holes in the sides of the tray and the box. And then pop out and twist and bend when you really don't want them to. The whole system buckles and bends every time you try and open the box.The clasp on the front fell off the first time I opened it in class and I had to force it back on. Now it wobbles and the lid doesn't close firmly when the catch is applied. I wont carry it by the handle as I'm worried that the clasp will pop open while I'm carrying it and spill the contents everywhere. So it has to be transported tucked under one arm.The only sturdy bit of this box is the manufacturers sticker plastered on the front of the box which was impossible to remove and left nasty sticky residue in a nice big rectangle on the front. It's not sticky any more as now it's full of clay dust.There is no way that this box would cope with anything heavier inside. Full of paint and brushes it would be completely useless.The only thing is has going for it is that you can see what's inside which might be handy if you had several and needed to see what which one you needed. Personally I wouldn't buy one let alone several.Overpriced and flimsy and definitely not the quality I'd expect from Daler-Rowney.

The box does the storage job adequately, but the cantilevered shelf collapsed every time the box was opened. The shelf is fixed by plastic hinges which pop out of their sockets every time you open the lid. The front clasp is also flimsy, as are the rear hinges. Certainly not what one would expect from such a reputable art materials company. This product is only suitable for light domestic use. Most definitely not anything harder than that. I had to engineer a stronger hinge fixing before I could let the misses use it. Even still, it needs to be opened with care. But at least the shelf doesn’t fall out now.

Collected a few days ago. Definitely better quality material.I did need another such storage box. It's nice and sturdy box for my jewellery making sterling silver wires. Makes life easy, I can see them all at a glance.Thank you.

Ich benutze die Kiste zur Aufbewahrung von Nähzubehör. Dafür eignet sich die Kiste hervorragend. Oben kann man auch super Nähgarn aufbewahren. Die Kiste kann man vielseitig verwenden und nicht nur für Künstlerbedarf. Klare Kaufempfehlung für diesen Alleskönner.

A great item. I use this sturdy clear box for storing electronic bits and pieces like mice, chargers, external hard drives, usb sticks etc - that way I can see what's in each slot. It's quite spacious, and it was a reasonable price. I'll probably get another one for actual tools :)

Caixa muito funcional para usar na pintura, principalmente para transporte. Talvez um pouco pequena, mas é uma necessidade pessoal. No entanto, tem o problema da etiqueta colada: horrível para se tirar e quando se tira fica a marca.
