This qu-ax luxus is a great unicycle for a learner and intermediate rider. I bought the pink version for my my 13 year old daughter who is 5ft3"/ 160 cm tall, and it was perfect. All Qu-ax come with two different length stems so the unicycle is suitable for both children and adults, unlike some other models where you have to saw off the stem to the correct height. She is using the shortest stem. We were advised at a circus camp that the 20" wheel size was the correct wheel size for her, and also told that the Qu-ax brand was the best brand to buy. It took around 4 hours of solid practising split over a couple of days for her to confidently be able to cycle the length of a tennis court. It took another 3 hours or so to master turning corners and now she cycles confidently, having had her unicycle for around 5 weeks. It is not a pain free skill to learn - her shins were pretty bashed up on the first day and she took to wearing her hockey shin pads on the second day. Everything you need to learn to master the skill is on free you tube tutorials, and as long as you are prepared for a few bruises on your shins and have naturally good balance, this is a great skill to learn and a great thing to keep adolsecents occupied over school holidays. The qu-ax luxus comes in 6 different colours, so search out one that you like. The price of the luxus varies from around £70 to £90 depending on the colour. Qu-ax do other models too that are more expensive (around the £120 mark), but for a learner you can't go wrong with the luxus.

Allora, prima di tutto parliamo dell'oggetto in questione... la qualità costruttiva è molto buona. è bello da vedere e la dimensione standard è l'ideale per cominciare.Poi mi sento di dare qualche consiglio in generale riguardo l'utilizzo di un monociclo per chi come me vuole lanciarsi in questa folle iniziativa..1- E' molto, molto difficile. I primi 10 giorni sono devastanti psicologicamente. Un metro, cadi. Un metro, cadi. Un metro, cadi. Non credete a chi dice che è facile perchè la realtà è che è molto più difficile di quanto pensiate2- Serve avere un fisico generalmente sportivo e una attitudine competitiva. Il fatto che è difficile per me lo rende uno stimolo a dominare questo aggeggio, ma non è così per tutti. Il 99% di voi ci rinuncerà. Quindi assicuratevi di avere una mentalità forte.3- Assicuratevi di avere un buono spazio con una ringhiera (col muro è troppo difficile all'inizio) e tanto tanto tempo. I progressi si cominciano a fare dopo un'ora non stop di prove. 30 min al giorno non servono a niente.Concludo con la mia esperienza. Sono un tipo molto sportivo e psicologicamente determinato ad ottenere quello che voglio. Potrei dire di avere le carte in regola per domare un monociclo. Ciò nonostante, dopo un mese di utilizzo sporadico (3-4 sessioni da una/due ore a settimana), riesco finalmente a fare 5-10 metri in completa autonomia. Sto imparando a curvare senza cadere, ma tutto ciò per non più di 10m. Poi inevitabilmente cado come agli inizi cadevo nei primi 50cm.Quindi è dura, molto dura. Ma sono determinate ad imparare quindi lo farò, costi quel che costi.Ma se non avete questa mia stessa determinazione... allora lasciate perdere.
