I have skin which is prone to dryness and itching, but I find most lotions are too thick and gloopy, therefore when I use a lotion, my skin feels "swamped" or "claggy and would sit on the surface of my skin". I tried the " Bio Oil Gel" version of this brand, when I had a particularly dry skin outbreak on my face, and was pleased with the results. I knew the gel, would not be required for everyday use, so tried out this product as an every day all over body moisturising alternative. I read some reviews on the well known high street chemist website site, which some customers said this product was too "watery". I purchased my first bottle, not having high hopes. Yes, when you tip the product into your hand, it needs to be cupped, but when applied to the skin, it is easily absorbed, gives very good coverage, which lasts all day. It has become part of my daily moisturising routine, and I cannot fault the effectiveness. No more "scaly skin" or skin that feels like it is suffocating from feeling clogged with heavy lotions.

The lotion itself is not very thick - literally like water as it pours out. However on the skin it is great. My skin feels moisturised for most of the day and then I use more to go to bed. Not slimy at all seeps into the skin leaving a healthy feel. Oh and is helping with my operation scars and already seeing a difference. Would recommendPs. Would have given 5* if not so runny

Have been using this for years and frequently brought it from Boots and other chemist. But decided to buy via Bolo. Bio oil soaks into my skin. Lovely inoffensive smell. Light oil and not greasy. My sister has been using this on her medical scars for years and it's lessened the appearance. It's about a year of consistent use, but they are almost unnoticeable now..

Amazing!! My bump was quite big and got big quite fast in the last 2 months of my pregnancy (first one). I religiously applied this oil twice a day (sometimes more), and I have NO stretchmarks whatsoever. I could be just lucky with my skin I guess...but if I get pregnant again, I will definitely be using it again!! :)

After trying several stretch mark and scar treatments, I was skeptical about this. Turns out I love it.The price initially put me off but it’s lasted ages and is definitely worth the cost.I have definitely noticed a difference in the colour of my stretch marks and my scars have definitely improved. Less importantly, it also has a really nice smell to it.
