A corresponding sized hole is required in the working surface, workmate or table. Once the clamps have been locked down onto the work piece, both hands are then free to manage the tools safely. This is particularly useful in a small workshop where space is at a premium.I have them in semi-permanent use on a trolley to hold down the bandsaw which is mounted on a board.( I call it the bandwagon)! These can then be released and similarly replaced with the router table which is kept on the lower deck of the bandwagon.Very useful, highly recommended.

Useful and robust plastic clamps to hold smaller work pieces on your b&d workmate. Larger wood will need additional clamps, but these are convenient as you can attach them and leave on the workmate.

Purchased to use with B&D workmate. Used for a couple of weeks last summer for a garden seat project and had no problems. Seem fairly sturdy and did the job plus they were not expensive so pretty happy on the whole.

Item arrived in a timely manner and with very basic packing inside Bolo box. The item packed in a thin plastic bag with absolutely no instructions for use, so not good if your are not used to this type of clamp, which could cause injury or ruin the clamp. The clamps are made of plastic and are not of professional or trade quality but adequate for certain occasional DIY use. The clamps have spring collets for easy use in fixing to Workmate type devices and removal with wheel type tightening screws for securing. These being of plastic, not hard wearing nylon makes them wear or strip very easily if severe force is applied. Secret is not to brutally tighten but to ensure they are tight and use if possible a pair or more depending on size of workpiece. The cam lock will do the rest.I was disappointed with my purchase as I thought they would be of a least trade standard but Rory to say they are not. I keep them for use on my home workmate whilst they still have some life in them.Would not recommend for trade or professional use. Some redesign work on materials would be beneficial even if more expensive.

Used on a Bosch PWB600 work bench. Easy to fit and adjust. Strong enough to clamp a four inch drill press for drilling and sawing. Bought a second set for awkwardly shaped pieces.

Useful clamps. Can be used with those folding work benches, or maybe on bigger benches if you drill some holes. Quality seems good, but I haven't really used them much yet. Although plastic, they feel quite tough, so will probably withstand a reasonable amount of use.

Obwohl die Dinger "nur" Kunststoff sind, halten sie bombenfest. Die von einem anderen Rezensenten fehlenden Plastikelemente wie bei Schraubzwingen, um die Holzoberfläche nicht zu beschädigen, fehlen mir nicht. Als gelernter Handwerker, zwar im Metallbereich, bin ich es gewohnt, hier bestens aufzupassen und immer was unterzulegen. Selbst bei Metallschraubzwingen mit den Kappen lege ich immer noch was unter, wenn es um empfindliche Teile geht. Schnell ist mal auch irgendwo ein Metallspan oder Holzspan drauf, der sich dann in die Oberfläche drückt.Ich gebe hier volle Punktezahl und Kaufempfehlung. Wie gesagt im Amateurbereich, der Profi wird sicher was anderes kaufen. Ich bin zufrieden.

Constan de dos partes. La pieza inferior tiene dos gatillos para que deslice por el vástago de la pieza superior. Se mete el vástago por el agujero de la mesa de trabajo y se coloca de nuevo la pieza inferior.Para fijar una madera a la mesa, primero ajustamos la pieza inferior usando los gatillos. Luego la giramos para apretar flojo. Finalmente tenemos una leva en la pieza superior con la que apretar fuerte.Funcionamiento sencillo y rápido, y agarre fuerteY para acabar, relación calidad/precio imbatible
