In late middle age I developed an allergy to all deodorants/anti-perspirants: even so-called hypersensitive, additive free brands caused a painful rash. It was with some scepticism that I tried this product but it has turned out to be the perfect answer to my problem.Not only does it cause no irritation but it is a highly effective deodorant which is easy to apply, dries rapidly and doesn’t stain clothing. I find it effective for the whole day.The stick costs more than most conventional deodorants but lasts far longer (18 months of daily use in my case) so actually works out cheaper.I find it easiest to apply by wetting the end under the tap before using under the arms.I wholeheartedly recommend this product.

Works very well. has no smell and stops me sweating very well. Does not stain clothes. However if you sweat a lot, might not be as effective.

I’ve been using these (on and off) for several years and used properly, they really work. This one is still going strong, months after I purchased it. Just a couple of things to be aware of:- don’t ever drop it! If you do, you’re likely to crack the “crystal” rock it’s made from and it’s just not possible to get it smooth again and then it will be too uncomfortable to apply with jagged edges. The second thing to bear in mind is that you should spend time applying it a lot. A good twenty seconds at least under the armpit! Make sure it’s very damp when applying. It dries quickly though and you will get zero odour on any of your clothing - if applied correctly, it literally kills all odour-producing bacteria on the skin for at least 12 hours, sometimes 24 hours if you haven’t got hot. If you get very hot, however, it will start breaking down more quickly and become ineffective. But for a normal day and outside of excessive heat causing you to sweat profusely, it will totally work. Personally, I use an application of talc on top but obviously that’s not necessary!

Finally I've found something that works! Ever since menopause I have experience body odor. I prefer the natural route and have tried many different brands and even returned to conventional deodorants none of which worked for any length of time or they had scents which made me nauseous. I saw a woman chatting online about the gross side of menopause and on the topic of body odor she recommended this Crystal deodorant. I was sceptical having tried other rock salt deodorants but, oh my days, this really works. No smell, not even after a walk in my warm winter coat. It seems that it will last ages but I'm going to order a couple more for fear they will become unavailable in future. You're welcome!

The potassium salt deodorant is smoother and more bubble-free than the ammonium salt one, and this is made from potassium salt. The other potassium salt one that is popular is Salt of the Earth. Having just smashed a nearly new SotE in the washbasin I'm very pleased that this one, though slightly more expensive, has a case design that makes dropping it much less likely. It's got a good chunky plastic case, and the top doesn't roll when you put it down! It's well thought out.I've been using alum deodorants for some years now, and I've found no downside to them. The important thing to do is to wet your underarms and not the crystal; otherwise you will get sore.

I'm very happy with the performance of this antiperspirant, I'm not sweating at all and it doesn't leave any mark on the clothes. Unfortunately I was looking for a natural anti-perspirant that don't contain aluminum, and although they say in the package that it doesn't contain aluminum chlorohydrate, it is made of potassium alum, which in contact with water (it's the way you use it) breaks into ions and then is absorbed in the skin. You can search for studies about alum and illness. So, just make sure that you know that before buying.

It's great! I highly recommend it!

i have been using the nature deo, i am a heavy sweater with the nature deo it did stop sweating but at some extreme heat it wasn't that much but this one it amazingly works.I stop sweating less since using this.Apply at night before bed and take shower in the morning it still works

This is indeed a stick that's made from a mineral so you need a bit of water to run it on your skin. The odor is then gone for 1-2 days. You still sweat of course, but there is no smell.

Very long last deodorant that works

I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this, since we were used to the other ones that include a mixed water recipe lol, and that round rotating head.This one is just a stone, one ingredient, and you wet it to apply it. It's actually very very low cost. Read one to find out why.Now, as others have said, the container is horrible. Ours came cracked actually, but the stone was fine. The container is still being used though so it's "fine", but the issue is that the stone is much heavier than the container and the container uses low quality, cheap plastic. Brittle. It does rotate quite high up so you can push up the stone, so that's a bonus.About application, after wetting it a little bit, you apply for between 15 to 30 seconds on each underarm. They say 30 but we don't have much patience for that every day. We apply it all over that area, quickly wash it off and put back in container. The container then, after a few applications, ends up with some crystal particles. You just rinse it every few weeks or else it causes friction when rotating it. Really quick and easy.We actually don't use it with the container, we just pick it up with our hands, wet it, and apply it, and place it back in the container. No need to use the cheap container apart from storage.So, why go through all that trouble? Apparently these are healthy and fine for the underarm. Here's hoping that's true and that the information out there is not falsified.We feel that even though we still sweat (which is important for our bodies), we don't smell. So, apply it once a day for about 24 hours (less if you're very active and it's hot outside), and you won't smell bad.But, the big benefit is that the stone lasts for such a long time!We've been using it for 13 months so far and we're not even half way, I think. We're 3 that use it almost daily.I bought 2 more but I have no idea when we'll be using them. They don't expire.I think each one lasts 2 to 4 years. If you're alone, maybe longer.The other crystal types that have water last for a few months, perhaps 3. Expensive. This one is not expensive at all due to the number of years it lasts. Imagine yours lasts 2 years, so you paid around 9 CAD for 2 years of deodorant.The others cost 6 or 7 CAD for 3 months of usage. Do the math.It's totally worth it.
