I purchased these products while in the USA recently. My babyliss big hair wouldn't work (voltage problem) & I had to let my hair go curly, which it hasn't been in about 10 years. The problem was after 10 years of straightening there was no curl - just wave with plenty of frizz. Not a good look for those holiday snap! So took myself into the nearest Haircare store (ulta) & they recommend this product. I purchased just the starter kit. I couldn't believe it - i had curls not fab but good enough - but after frequent use of using this product, I watched the how onto on mydevacurl, don't use a terrycloth towel but an old T-shirt to dry towel your hair - I had amazing curls. My husband was thrilled & my children never having seen "proper curls" in my hair except in old photo's loved it. I am now a true convert - it takes my 5 mins every morning & not 20. More & more curls coming back on a daily basis! I was a frequent user of Kerastase & Redken so the price point is the same. I have non-colored, wavy & curly hair in my 40's.

Great for Fine Curly HairI have very fine curly hair that is low porosity. (For those curly girls my hair type is 3b).My hair routine is to detangle with tresemme naturals and wash with no-poo (also a Deva Curl product) followed by One Condition and Jessicurl gel to style.This product is a very creamy consistency and is perfect for my hair type! It is moisturizing without weighing my hair down. I find that with past conditioners that are a thicker consistency my hair is heavier looking, thinner and with more breakage and less bounce. I bought a big bottle and use a very generous amount, as my hair is naturally very dry and course.Before using this product I would cleanse and condition my hair twice a week. Now because of the light consistency and results I am comfortable to wash it every day. I know a lot of people say washing every day or every second day for curly hair is bad but it has been working just fine for me!I am happy with Curly Girl friendly ingredients no parabens, sulfates or silicones. I would recommend this product to any curly or wavy girl. Especially if you have fine hair!Pros:· Great for low porosity hair· Gives great slip· Perfect for fine hair (it doesn't weigh curls down like heavier moisturisers)· Smells fresh and fruity (subtle scent- not over powering)· Can also be used as a leave in conditioner (applied when your hair is soaking wet)Cons:· Probably won't be conditioning enough for thirsty porous hair or if you only condition once a week.· It is a little on the expensive side· Wouldn't recommend for straight hair that tends to get greasyAll in all I absolutely love the results this product gives my hair! My curls are light, bouncy and fuller looking. A big thumbs up from me!

Extremely good product. Better than all other similar products I have tried. First few uses can be a bit experimental until you get the quantity and method right for you - takes a bit of getting used to. Good lasting results - a much better, healthier hair condition. This should probably be a 5-star review - but I suppose I'm just not a 5-satr type of person. In a couple of months' time - I would probably have given it 5 stars. So glad I found this products - which was recommended to me.

I've been a curly girl from birth and wanted to find a leave on conditioner that didnt create dandruff and build up on my scalp. It smells like lemongrass so delicious and works so well (I use this original one). In between wetting my hair fully every few days and putting on 2 squirts (I rub on my hands and then through my hair, more at the ends, ending with a scrunch of my hair), I've also bought a spray bottle where I put 4 or 5 full push down squirts in, mix the rest with water and shake and for a quick fix you can squire your hair (mainly lower 3/4) and smooth your hair hur then scrunch and leave to dry. This produces fantastic smooth curls. Been using this 4 or 5 years now and love it! My hair is just passed shoulder length if this helps anyone x

Makes my hair so sticky and horrible. I used Deva Curl No-Poo, One Conditioner and the Ultra Defining Gel together and I don't even like touching my hair once it's dry. I spent a lot of money on these products hoping for miracles, and I did keep using them for about 6-8 weeks (I know they said give it time), but honestly I'd take a bit of frizz and soft-feeling hair using "normal" products over the horrible straw-like sticky mess these products made my hair. So disappointed :(

This is a very nice product, feels great when on hair in the shower, and gives good slip while combing out knots, but it just didn't give my porous thirsty curls enough moisture once dry. Would probably be great for those with low porousity hair, but wouldn't recommend for very dry thirsty curls.

Great product. Use on soaking wet hair as leave in moisturiser and then use styling product. Let dry. Style hold lasts for days.

Dieser Conditioner ist erste Sahne für trockene Locken, wie ich sie habe. Ohne die richtige Pflege habe ich welliges/glattes Haar, mit Deva Curl No Poo, One Conditioner und AnGel habe ich Lockentyp 2c/3a (Boticelli/Corcicelli). Ich lasse den Conditioner im Haar drin, manchmal lasse ich, wie im Buch beschrieben, ein wenig Wasser darüber tropfen, um ihn zu verteilen. Man merkt, dass die Deva Curl Produkte von Menschen mit Locken entwickelt wurden, die sich Jahre lang mit den Problemen dieses Haartyps beschäftigt haben. Fazit: Empfehlenswert für alle, die schöne und vor allem gesunde Locken haben wollen.

Desenreda muy bien y como leave-in va perfecto. Al principio me resultaba un poco ligero porque es más líquido que los acondicionadores habituales y usaba más cantidad pero solo tienes que pillarle el truco.Aun asi, creo que hay marcas recomendadas por el CG method mas baratas y que cunden más.

This conditioner makes a great daily conditioner and/or a leave-in conditioner. I use it as a leave-in because it's a bit pricey as a daily conditioner.I love the Devacurl products and the Curly Girl Method. That book (written by the stylist who created Devacurl products) has really improved my natural curls. Devacurl products don't have silicones that build up on hair, and no parabens or harsh, drying chemicals. Give up foaming shampoo (use Devacurl No Poo), brushes, flat irons and wrapping towels on your head, and your curls will be so much healthier.
