I purchased these for creating cutouts in four electrical control cabinets for a recent project. I only required one blade to complete the entire job of creating multiply cutouts in 1.5mm mild steel. The performance and sharpness was great and the cut was clean with minimal burring left for post processing.

Starret are renown for quality. These are no different. Fine tooth. I bought them for cutting small trims. And they go through perfect with no burrs left. Usually dear compared to cheap unbranded blades, but if you are doing a job for a customer you dont want rough cuts and any comeback. Ill try to buy starret blades in advance and have a stock of all lengths and blade types i think. Very good.

The thick yellow paint is a pain.
I cut .05" brass sheet. They cut very well (in a Bosch 1584 saw), but don't try to remove the blade or reinsert it halfway through: the thick coat of paint really clogs that any such attempt. I assume someone else makes bimetal blades without gooey paint: buy them.
