I have used crank bros products for several years and have been pleased with the quality however, as with many other manufacturers the quality has taken a huge nosedive lately. These cleats are worse than useless as the supplied screws seem to be made out of some kind of toffee, with only the lightest pressure and a very small and well fitting Allen key, the screws started to deform long before the cleats were firm, I then tried to remove the screws with no luck so I had to resort to a hammer and punch to try ease them out, this worked but split the sole of my shoe. Why so many companies let the bean counters and idiots make important purchasing decisions is beyond me. I have no idea whether these screws were sourced in China but I would bet £50 that they were. So well done Crank Bros you saved yourselves pennies per dozen on these toffee screws but my pedals are going in the bin despite being three months old and your name is dirt as far as I am concerned

Perhaps Crank Brothers could explain to me why the original set of cleats that came with the pedals had both long and short screws supplied to ensure proper fitting. While these additional cleats come only with long screws that are digging into the shoe. Really!

Bought these for my 2 year old Eggbeater3. They have huge float both vertical and horizontal. Had to use a metal file to adjust them. Right shoe is good, left one not. Will order a 0 float pair.

Crank Brothers for the win
I am a long time user of crank brothers pedals. I have had the egg beaters and the mallets both clip in of course. The quality of crank brothers is unmatchable. The crank brothers style is excellent for the dry or the muddy days as the clip area is wide open allowing mud to just fall through and not cause issues when clippings back in.
