Also great value at the moment as it’s a large bottle will last a good while as you can splash it over anything but it’s not too thick. A must try for sauce lovers, I heard it’s the most popular sauce in Mexico!

This is my most favorite hot sauce to put on tacos and was so happy to see if available on Bolo in the UK. It cost a fraction of the price at home (one shop I use to purchase at was under a dollar) but consider the distance it has traveled, can't complain to have a taste from home. It's not too hot, but slightly vinegary - just like I like a hot sauce to be. Good on beef, chicken, pork, fish, and veg tacos. You really can't go wrong with Valentina Salsa Picante and I'm so happy to be able to purchase it here.

This sauce is very delicious. The sauce is relatively thick but still pourable, it tastes like a combination of chillies and tomatoes, with a slight vinegar kick but hardly noticeable compared to a sauce like Tabasco.In terms of spice I would say to the average person they would find it spicy, if I had to compare it to another sauce I would say it is a little spicier than Cholula, but not by much, if you like spice you should be able to handle it with no issues.The sauce comes packaged in a sealed glass bottle with a plastic cap. The plastic cap is well designed and pours well, with a second air hole to allow the sauce to be poured continuously.Definitely a sauce to try!

My daughter uses it at her theatre job (she is a line cook) I am not usually a fan of Hot Sauce but I love this flavour! Pro tip, mix it with blue cheese dressing and baste your chicken wings!!! YUM
VALUE IS STILL FANTASTIC
I've noticed that similar types of hot sauce that i like have doubled or even tripled in price like tapatio, choula, and some american brands. I'm not a fan of the overly vinegar flavor of the american brands like franks, crystal or tabasco. Although this is is a similar type of sauce albeit not as flavorful as some other hot sauces in this style of sauce it is very budget friendly and still lends a nice acidity and kick to your food at a big price reduction over its competitors. Valentina is a mexican family brand made in mexico for everyday consumption and this totally fits the bill for that still costing about the same per OZ as it did before groceries doubled in price over the last years.
