I bought Lavazza espresso 'Barista Intense' beans without checking the size, thinking it might be a smaller bag. Imagine my surprise (and delight) when a giant 1kg bag arrived! - it makes this a fantastic deal compared to some other options. This intense blend of Arabica and Robusta beans packs a punch, perfect for those who enjoy a strong espresso. Can be also used for making lattes and cappuccinos, the robust flavour holds its own even with milk. But please be aware - while great for some (including myself), the boldness might be overpowering for those who prefer milder coffee. Some coffee enthusiasts prefer to know the roast date for freshness. Unfortunately, Lavazza doesn't provide it. Anyway, if you enjoy a strong and flavourful espresso, you won't be disappointed. The rich aroma, high-quality beans, and drum roast process all contribute to a satisfying coffee experience. As a coffee enthusiast, I highly recommend this for those who crave a bold and intense espresso, especially considering the amazing value and large quantity.

It's a decent roast, and it does taste like a café quality coffee, but you pay quite a premium for it.It's a very similar flavour to the Blue Bag Lavazza beans such as Super Crema - which is also available from Bolo at a much better price. I'd go Super Crema tbh.Lavazza have hiked prices recently, and tbh you can get excellent beans for less money.Have a look at the Harboryam range here on Bolo. So good, so smooth. Real quality.If you like the Napoli style of coffee the range is v. good value.

I grind these Lavazza Espresso Intenso Coffee Beans very fine and use with a Swiss gold filter for my morning black coffee, and they do not disappoint. The taste is really good—strong and full-bodied, without any hint of a burnt aftertaste. It's the perfect way to kickstart my day, providing the right balance of richness and smoothness.They are much cheaper than many of the other beans available to buy, but the quality seems great to me.If you're looking for a reasonable lriced, high-quality coffee that delivers consistent flavour, this is it. Highly recommended for frugal coffee lovers.

Repetimos siempre porque tanto la calidad como el sabor nos convencen totalmente.El grano es de muy buena calidad, con un tueste óptimo que aporta un equilibrio perfecto entre cuerpo, aroma y sabor. No es ni demasiado amargo ni excesivamente ácido, ideal para quienes buscamos un café rico y agradable tanto solo como en combinaciones con leche.Utilizamos una cafetera súper automática, y el grano se muele perfectamente, sin generar exceso de polvo ni problemas en el molinillo. La extracción es constante y el resultado en taza es siempre muy bueno: una crema bonita y un sabor redondo.Además, algo que valoro mucho es que el perfil de tueste es muy regular entre sacos, lo que garantiza que cada vez que repites, el café mantiene la misma calidad y no te llevas sorpresas.En resumen, un café en grano de excelente calidad a un precio muy competitivo, ideal para cafeteras automáticas. Si te gusta el café bien equilibrado para disfrutar cada día, este es muy recomendable. Nosotros lo seguiremos comprando.

Echt lekker coffee, zeker aanrader

I love Lavazza beans as though not the freshest you can get, they really work for espresso. Apparently lavazza really knows how to keep the beans fresh when packed. They also recommend to close the bag (I use a clamp for that) and place it in the fridge after opening. Unfortunately my Barazza espresso maker is quite picky. It only makes espresso either from my own roast beans (the best option only not easy because I need to blow the shells). Other than that I can use some Whole Foods espresso beans, with decent results and Lavazza espresso. All the other coffee brands are too dry and my machine goes through the coffee like there is nothing there, and no crema. It does that even if I use the smallest grinding (1). With this Lavazza l use level 10 for grinding and the result is more than decent. I get nice brew, crema and a good tasting espresso. Thank you Lavazza for making these coffee beans stay fresh enough! Ten stars from me.
